Kalypso Media and Torus Games have just released a gameplay trailer (of the PC version, admittedly) for the upcoming sports title Matchpoint - Tennis Championships.
The title promises to deliver "a dynamic tennis experience to players around the world" as well as "authentic ball physics to sophisticated character animations and unprecedented player control".
Confirmed playable characters include the top-ten ranked Danill Medvedev, Garbiñe Muguruza, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud, and Hubert Hurkaczs alongside "renowned tennis stars" like Nick Kyrgios, Benoît Paire, Heather Watson, Hugo Gaston, Madison Keys, Victoria Azarenka, Carlos Alcaraz, and Pablo Carreño Busta, Taylor Fritz, Amanda Anisimova, and Kei Nishikori.
Matchpoint - Tennis Championships hits Switch this summer. It's also coming to PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

We need an updated + next gen version of Top Spin and/or Virtua Tennis. Not another World Tour / AO Tennis clone that even the biggest tennis fan needs to avoid.
Surprised they’ve got Benoît Paire there, the man banned from the Tokyo Olympics after describing the Australian Open as 'sh*t', 'crap' and 'grotesque'. Otherwise a decent selection of players, a bit different from the usual crowd and more representative of the tour these days.

@NitroTwelveCitrus Hahaha, you’ve got that right! Kyrgios is incredibly fun to watch if he’s in the right mood, similar to Paire, but he’s a massive idiot. Always surprised me that he was pals with Murray.
Looks interesting. I'm a big fan of Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast so I may pick this up.
