As Will Smith would say, "Hey! I'm the party starter. You might have a good time, but we party harder." And much like Will Smith's movies, Jackbox games are fun for all the family, with the occasional dud that no one really wants to put on the TV — but the good ones are really good, and everyone loves them.
Jackbox Party Starter is a collection of three previously-released games from Jackbox, although which ones it'll be has yet to be announced — but each one has been picked as a crowd-pleaser for folks who are both well-versed in the Jackbox games, and total newbies like your grandma who's never played a video game before.
"The Jackbox Party Starter is the answer to the question, “Which Jackbox game should we play if we’re new to Jackbox?” It’s the game you pop on when nothing else is on TV. It’s the light to your sparkler and the sugar to your cookies."
"With over 40 released games, you must be wondering, which three will be included in The Jackbox Party Starter? This information will be coming soon as we ramp up to our planned launch in Summer 2022."
Alongside the Party Starter release, there will also be updates for the three games included, plus localisations in French, Italian, Spanish, and German.
No platforms have been announced, but Jackbox games seem to make their way to Switch sooner or later.
So, what games would you like to see included? Our money's on Drawful 2 and Quiplash, plus maybe... Tee KO? Those three would make this the best pack yet. We'd also be happy to see Joke Boat and even Trivia Murder Party... But tell us your picks in the comments!

I’ve been curious but have yet to purchase any Jackbox Party game. am I missing out or meh?

If you have a group of friends or family who enjoying sitting down to a board game or board game like experience, then you are absolutely missing out.
If you do not have this then you are not missing out.
If I was to get a “Jackbox” pack, it would definitely be one with “You Don’t Know Jack” in it. My sister and I used to play some of them quite often, many years ago.
This is a game I own on switch but is one of the few I would recommend owning on something that can stream well. It's great and easy to play with friends remotely in addition to people on the same couch. Most games are 6-8 players wity audience roles for any extras.
Trivia murder party, quiplash and fibage
Each Jackbox pack usually has one really good game that is universally liked, a couple that depend on if the right type of people are playing, and one or two stinkers.
If you play with the right group of people, it is a great activity.
I hosted many Zoom Meeting Jackbox Parties with friends and family during COVID shut-downs.

The Murder Trivia games are similar and very good.
Might jump on this, pending selection and price. I love these games at friends' places but don't own any myself, having just a handful for when no one else has a copy would definitely be useful. Already got Drawful for free during their lockdown-related promotion, that's a great one to pull out in a jiff.
Tee KO is the best.

Our family's favorites have always been YDKJ, Murder Trivia, and Drawful.
I remain forever devoted to "You Don't Know Jack!" but I wish it was its own separate yearly/themed release. Fibbage, Drawful, and Quiplash are the ones I've heard lots of people loving.
I like all of the Jackbox games, but honestly, just get 3 if it’s your first one. Can’t imagine this pack will be any better than that.
It'd be awesome if they combined all their Party Pack games into a single release, I know they're are 8 of those so far, that'd be quite an amazing selection of party games in a single title. Make it happen!
@idork99 aside from nintendo party games, these are must haves for the nintendo switch console. I like #3, #5 and #6 personally
I've got 'em all already, so this may be a pass for me, but ideally, I'd like to see Split the Room, Quiplash, and Fibbage in a pack together.
Be absolutely certain you have
1. A good enough network to handle the switch online, AND simultaneously enough mobile devices for all the players, also being online.
2. The ability for all players to occasionally understand the weird Americanised references that often crop up.
3. Other players around you, or via a twitch stream or whatnot.
Then they're fun.
If you're a sad and lonely gamer like me, you'll wish they still made more single player-able games.
I just can't see buying this on Switch. I stream it on Discord since many of my friends live in other places and that's the best way to get a full room. If you could stream on Twitch then maybe it would make sense, but without the ability to stream I just can't see playing it that often.
I'm sure there's some kind of hardware that would let me stream Switch games but why buy something extra when it's already built into another platform?
We have all of them, Quiplash 1, 2 and 3 are all awesome, there are a bunch of good ones but we will see a Quiplash.
While there's others I enjoy more, like Spliy The Room, and Mad BlVerse City, I think Quiplash, Drawful, and Fibbage are the essentials.
