Cool to see Game Builder Garage at number 2. A fun little game!
Must admit, I never expected Momotaro to outlast MH Rise in the Japanese charts. Fair play.
Bet Samurai Warriors runs like an absolute dog on Switch, but impressive that it’s holding pace with the PS4 sales
Hmm...Switch is starting to wobble. They really need to release a more powerful one soon.

No it can't still be number one, do these people not read all the online outrage about this game.
@GrailUK,
I noticed that too, Nintendo are doomed mark my words.
Mario Golf Super Rush has already outsold Advance Tour at Japanese retail. It should outsell World Tour within the next 2-3 weeks.
Game Builder Garage continues to perform well too.
This is my take about the Switch Oled and I’ve been talking about this for quite some time, Nintendo hasn’t been outsold yet by the next gen consoles not only in Japan, this case scenario is global, America, Europe, Australia... let’s be honest guys, Nintendo switch is right now in the pinnacle of his life, that’s why Nintendo is not in the upgrade mood. Let’s be patient, the upgrade will come out when Ps5 and XS outsells switch sales around the world.
@Krull I watched a video about the Switch version of Samurai Warriors 5 and it seemed to perform well.
Remember that time when a parade and elephants walked all over Sideshow Bob in classic Simpsons?
Right now, Switch and its games are the parade and elephants, while PS5 is Sideshow Bob.
Kind of awkward that an experimental thingamabob like Game Builder Garage and an upgraded 3DS port such as Miitopia are selling better than Drift Apart and FFVIIR Intergrade.
@PallasCat agree and this is the same reason why we haven't got Mario Kart 9.
Nintendo will make their move when they need to ...... not sure when that will be though as they were already sat on a mountain of cash from the Wii and they have never sold the Switch at a loss.
Well, I guess I'm picking Mario Golf anytime in the future.
Nice to see Miitopia still hanging in there. I hope Game Builder Garage also continues to hang in there.
Man if the PS5 and Xbox Series X struggle this much against the Nintendo Switch in Japan right now with only two models, just wait til the Switch OLED model launch in October and then they had to deal with 3 models. That would be difficult to takedown. I recently received a $500 Amazon gift card for my birthday from a close affiliate so the Switch OLED model to me now is pretty much a guaranteed buy.
@GrailUK it'll happen any day, now.
Over 20 million switches seems about right
Wait, Japanese gamers suddenly forget about Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart ?
@SmileMan64 Good to know! Not really a musou fan, personally, but I think it’s great that the series releases a new entry day and date on Switch with PS4
Looks like MHR has dropped out of the charts
@Meteoroid,
Could be true.
Ring Fit Adventure will eventually reach 3m, probably by the end of the year.
@PallasCat We're going to get a new console directly, most likely 2024.
Surprised to see the Xbox Series X so high on the charts hahahaha.
@Krull Here's a video comparing the PS4 and Switch versions of Samurai Warriors 5. Main difference so far seem to be the number of trees and grass, as well as some textures. The rest seem to perform well.

@SmileMan64 Nice to see a comparison of the two versions, I'm still kinda angry that Koei never localize the Switch version of Samurai Warriors 4 but hopefully this one makes up for it.
@Ghost_of_Hasashi Hopefully they'll consider Switch and the west for most if not all their upcoming games.
