To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Animal Crossing franchise, Nintendo is releasing a lovely boxset which contains the soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons along with some other goodies.
In this bundle you will get seven CDs. Four of these have all the music from Animal Crossing: New Horizons on, which is a staggering amount, it would seem. The remaining three discs include the Totakeke Instrumental Music Collection which features charming instrumental versions of all 95 of KK Slider’s songs. The bundle also comes with an art book and a KK Slider themed earphone case.
If you'd like to learn a bit more about this collection, our chums over at VGC have taken lots of lovely photos for you to check out. We've included a few here, but we urge you to check out VGC's page for more. It really is lovely.

OMG I can't wait to pre-ord .... and it's gone
Nice, though I do wish Nintendo would join us in 2021 and also start to put their music on Spotify and other digital services like SEGA and others do!
Got mine this morning from Amazon Japan. Took 2 days to arrive here from dispatch email. Very pleased with it 😀
@HeadPirate
Did you check the links? Still in stock on Amazon JP and Play-asia.
It's a little expensive and I don't think the music really warrants being that expensive, even if 7 discs really is necessary for the full game audio.
A lot of that is three different versions of the hourly music because of sunny/rainy/snowy versions, and then you have the K.K. Slider tracks which feature both live and aircheck versions.
Though the majority of K.K. Slider music is re-used from previous games, I think ACNH may have only had 6 or 7 new KK tracks (including 3 for "unrecognised" request which don't have an aircheck) I'd have to double-check.
@RupeeClock
Woooosh
@HeadPirate
I don't care for jokes that don't land.
@Clyde_Radcliffe nah, physical is the way to go. But still it’s weird that they don’t give you the streaming option.
@HeadPirate your comment 100% doesn’t warrant a “woooosh” lmao
@RupeeClock,
Joke??????????
Ahhh, good ole Animal Forest!
@johnvboy No, "jokes" with an extra "s" ;^)
I placed my order on 4/14 on Amazon...hope it ships soon...
@Clyde_Radcliffe Yeah definitely. I'd love to buy the Splatoon soundtracks on (digital store).
I would buy this collection just to have Komrade K.K. on CD.
A pack of CDs in 2021 seems a bit of a misstep.
@Prizm The great thing about CDs is that they double-up as frisbees which sail through the air like majestic celestial onion rings whooooooooshhh
Finally got mine arrive today... hearing it without speaker filters, plane sounds, and other ambience ontop of it, actually shows the game does the soundtrack a disservice!
It sounds MIDI in the game, but actually it is live instruments and recorded properly. It's almost like listening to a different version! Really well put together. Literally nothing has been forgotten. And the two magazines and artwork book are printed lovely too.
