Pokemon Snap looks like a ridiculously stupid game.

@DaDebbil Why? Because it lacks violence? Not all games need violence. See it as a game where you explore pokémon in their natural habitat, like how people explore the real world and take pictures of that.

If that's not your cup of tea that's fine but that doesn't make it a stupid game. It just doesn't make it your game.

It's crazy to think, this is what a handheld Pokemon Snap could have looked like, fast forward to now and New Pokemon Snap IS what a handheld version of the game looks like! Games have come a long way over these past couple decades!

@Yosher I don't owe you an explanation. You already made up your own answer, live with it. You don't have to say you're offended, you just need to act like you are to be labled as such. "Natural habitat" lol. They don't even exist! That's like you saying there's violence in games when violence is a real world issue with real world consequences and results. There isn't one video game in the world that contains violence, only simulated violence.

It looks pretty accurate and you can see that a lot of effort went into making it. But if it was an actual game I think it‘d be boring as hell.

@Yosher There's a big difference between hostile and blunt. I happen to be the latter. We surely could have had a discussion if you hadn't opened up by telling me what I think. I'm thinking I'm not going to post anymore on this site. I've had assumptions made of me as well as had the PC police try to tell me how to speak. I guess the PC police didn't notice that most of America is sick of PC culture. One just needs to look at the drop in viewrship for the Oscar Awards to see how sick of politically correct we really are. I know you didn't go PC on me, and I'm not blaming ypu. Just venting. @DaDebbil That doesn't make it stupid though. It's called being child friendly, not childish, there's a difference there. Lots of games that are child friendly have a surprising amount of depth put into them if you would just give them a chance.

As a child I didn't play Yoshi's Island for that very reason, myself. But now as a grown up, it's one of my top favourite games because I can appreciate a game regardless of how 'childish' it looks and the game is genuinely amazing, something I could never have experienced if I stuck with my stance of 'this game is stupid because it looks too childish for me'.

Still, fair enough! The game is simply not for you. Let's leave it at that.

Really cool concept even if the gameplay seems slower paced and more simplistic. Would love to give it a go if it were a real thing. Glad there are people out there making content like this and I’m excited to play the new game tomorrow!

Geez @Da_Debbil He didn't tell you what to think, it literally had a question mark at the end "Because it lacks violence?" Also, you have a devil as a profile screen so I mean there's that. Don't keep calling people stupid when they've tried to end the conversation on a friendly note. You could have easily just said, "I'm not a fan of childish styles but that's just my opinion" that's an easy and friendly end to a conversation that takes care of the issue. Think before you act, you don't have to act like those 13-year-olds who try to have roast competitions online while in their grandmas' basement.
