Today sees the launch of the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack, a digital-only bundle featuring all three games from the franchise's 'Mysterious' series.
Following in the footsteps of the previously-released Dusk Trilogy and Arland series sets, this new pack includes Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX, Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX, and Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX. A "large amount" of previously released DLC has also been thrown in for good measure, as well as all-new content for the DX versions.
A new launch trailer has appeared to mark the occasion (which you can watch above) and we have official descriptions for each of the included games for you below:
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX follows Sophie in a coming-of-age story as she struggles living up to her grandmother’s legacy. The new DX version of this fan-favourite adventure includes three new cauldrons that add new elements to the synthesis system, as well as a new costume for Sophie showing her grown-up charm! On top of these newly introduced elements, players will also have access to a large amount of the previously released DLC for the title, including six costumes, four background music packs, two item sets, a sequel episode, the ‘Hidden Archive’ gathering area, and the ‘DESPAIR’ difficulty level.
Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX introduces four new vehicles with various features to Firis’ adventure, as well as quests to defeat seven new monsters. If players manage to defeat these seven monsters, they will have a chance to challenge the incredibly challenging foe, Palmyra! The game also features most of the previously released DLC, including two playable characters, sixteen costumes, four background music packs, and two new areas to explore.
Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX features a new painting that allows players to enter the world of 2019’s Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists, which can be unlocked through collecting the fragments of mysterious paintings during their adventure. After meeting Lady Nelke, several scenarios and boss quests become available to help develop the town of Westwald, offering a powerful new challenge for the alchemist twins. The DX version of the game also features most of the previously released DLC, including two playable characters, seven costumes, five background music packs, five item sets, a new area to explore, eight additional game features, and four other DLC items including new recipes and quests.
All three games feature a built-in Photo Mode, a speed-up function for battle, and a Digital Artbook that contains illustrations and background music from the games. The bundle containing all three games is available to buy on the Switch eShop for £73.99 / $89.99.

I didn't buy Lydie & Suelle when it first released on Switch as I didn't want to play it without playing the first two. I've since played all the other Atelier games on the system and have loved them all so looking forward to checking out the Mysterious Trilogy now that all the games are here. Just gotta wait for my physical copy.
Slowly filling my cart for my semi annual play asia run.
Had no idea what this was, but waifus with pistols? Looks great lol!
So tempted to buy this. I didn't really get into Lydie and Suelle, but all reports say it was one of the weakest Atelier games, and I really enjoyed Ryza, so I feel like I should give the older games a shot.
Damn that collection is big. But I’d love to get into the Atelier series, it’s so... so Japanese.
Looks awesome but even though this is a trilogy do I need to play any prier atelier games because I only own ryza.
As a general rule, I don't pre-order unless it is a series I really like or a publisher whose titles I know well enough to take the gamble. Atelier is fits into both categories. Oh and @BizzareJelly28980, you don't need to worry, each Atelier trilogy is basically self-contained.
Ouch $90. I was expecting more of a bundle discount. The trailer says PEGI 12. Is it really okay for a young girl to play? My oldest loves anime for young girls (stuff she finds on Netflix).
@Daggot - You've got to kill cute creatures to harvest their precious crafting materials.
@BizarreJelly28980 nah. Each atelier trilogy is self contained
I'm getting the physical edition I think all the games plus dlc is on one cartridge which is great plus it's in English text which I'm happy for!
@Daggot yea it's good for her it's alot of text and cute monsters and a friendly story not dark or anything.
Hmm, might get later. Currently playing Atelier Ryza.
Really enjoyed the first Ryza title and currently loving the second. I would like to go back to try these older entries. They're on my wish list for now.
