Back in April, QubicGames announced a whole bunch of titles were en route to the Nintendo Switch eShop. One of them was the original Door Kickers game - not to be confused with Door Kickers: Action Squad.
If you've been at all wondering what's happened to it, the good news is it's now got a release date. The game will be arriving on the hybrid platform next month on 26th December for $11.99. Pre-orders are now open.
If you own any of Qubic's other games including Robonauts, One Strike, Mana Spark, Blazing Beaks or Akane, you'll get a 25% discount on this upcoming release.
Door Kickers is a 2D top-down real-time strategy title that puts you in charge of a SWAT team during a tactical intervention. You'll have to analyse the situation at hand, plan team routes, choose equipment, breach points, coordinate multiple troopers in hostage scenarios, and of course...kick doors. Below is the original game trailer:
Yesterday, a European Switch eShop listing also revealed QubicGames would be bringing the original WiiWare Bit.Trip games to the system next month on 25th December.

Looks like this game is designed around mouse control, not sure how well this will work on the Switch. This kinda reminds me of Police Stories, which is a good game but the controls work a lot better on the PC than the Switch.
HECK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love this classic.
a great game but not at that price
Had this on mobile. Touch controls mostly worked.
This trailer reminds me good old times with Rainbow 6 on GBA
@JayJ Switch can actually use a mouse and keyboard as controller option
Qubic games always go on ridiculous sales. This makes me always wait them out till the are like 90% off.
Qubic also releases a bunch of horrid games, which many times makes me pass them altogether...
This one may be one I bite on.
I’ll save up a couple of dollars for the eventual sale.
@CodyMKW Yeah but I think that defeats the purpose of gaming on the Switch.
I had a decent time with this one on my phone a while back, but didn't stick with it very long due to my attention weaning while playing mobile games. I don't think I want to give it another go on Nintendo Switch, even though it is pretty solid.
Play Actually squad door kickers on the Nintendo switch and it was pretty awesome this even looks better can’t wait to play.
