While it might seem like slim pickings at the moment when it comes to major upcoming releases for the Nintendo Switch, there are still a handful of exciting third-party games on the way to the hybrid system - including one particular remaster.
It's the upcoming Atlus release, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster. Last month, we found out Dante from Capcom's Devil May Cry would be returning to the game, and now Atlus has released a second official trailer in the lead up to the game's Japanese launch on 29th October (keep in mind, it's all in Japanese). Take a look below:
If you're seeking other Shin Megami Tensei games - you can always check out the original Super Famicom title on the Japanese Nintendo Switch Online service, or hold out for Shin Megami Tensei V instead - which is receiving a global launch on the Switch next year. Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will also be released worldwide next year.
What do you think of this latest trailer? Excited to play as Dante again? Tell us down below.

Excited to give this a try, first time playing any SMT / Persona games.
Played Persona 5 and heard that SMT was a much darker game than it. Might just give it a go!
Looking forward to this. A quality series.
Now with Dante from the Devil May Cry series?!?!?!?! OMG!!
Jokes aside, I've heard a lot about this series but never played a single game (neither Persona, the closest thing may be Tokyo Mirage Sessions), so I'll be looking into it
Really looking forward to this, but I’m looking forward to SMTV even more and I’m not sure I will want to play both in the same calendar year.
Probably won’t stop me buying both, though!
I tried SMT4 on the 3DS and didn´t click me at all. I also played Persona 5 for quite a few hours but didn´t enjoy it much either (way too much talking). I guess I´m not an Atlus kind of guy XD. A pity, everyone says it´s a great company, and the JRPGs are my favourite genre...
My first brush with the series was the side game, "Revelations: The Demon Slayer" on Gameboy color.
I eventually re-found the series with shin meg ten: Devil Survivor.
I have been hooked to the series ever since. If a shin meg game comes out, I'll throw my money at it. They're usually quite deep, and allow for some cool demon gathering and move customizing. I LOVE these games.

I want to tell you that Atlus is a good company. I also want to say that about NIS.
They worked together for a while creating fantastic niche games.
They had a falling out, and both sides have accused the other of being awful. I love several of both companies' games, but if either of them are to be believed, one of them isn't that great behind the veil.
Still, I love them both.
So hyped for this
I plan to get this and SMTV on day one. Currently blasting through Persona 5 Royal and it's everything I ever hoped it would be. About 50 hours in so still quite a way to go!
Dark and sinister,
Never played a SMT, might be a bit too devilish for me to be honest....
Really looking forward to this and SMTV!
I'm currently playing Shin Megami Tensei IV. It seems more focused on gameplay, whereas Persona gives very much space to story and characters. But what a gameplay!
This really looks like the quintessential SMT game... that I’ve never played.
I’m so tempted after watching this to play my ps2 copy but I will hold off for this version now.
I have been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit lately, which is fantastic.
Cannot wait. In my eyes this one is a top tier JRPG.
I've never actually played the game on Hard mode before and I'm glad I finally get a good excuse to give that one a try.
I hope we get both SMT during the first quarter of the year tho. I've played P4G on Steam and loved it and have been looking more into Atlus' games. I'm itching to get an SMT/Persona game on the switch so we can play on the go.
@the_beaver If you don't like dialogue how are jrpgs your favorite? I mean it is heavy on the dialogue but 90 percent of them are...
@Ghostchip I love dialogues, but I prefer playing XD. Persona 5 is way too much for me, much more dialogue than gameplay.
Totally get it man a little confused at first but now I get what you mean.
@the_beaver which jrpg is your favorite? I like earthbound and xenoblade.
@the_beaver Try their Etrian Odyssey franchise, far less dialogue. It's combat and exploration driven.
