If you watch the latest episode of Nintendo Minute, you'll see it's all about next week's release Super Mario 3D All-Stars. There's even some footage of it, and well... let's just say part of this video has sent viewers into a bit of a frenzy.
You see, around the 20-second mark, there's a clip of the game's title screen that supposedly plays music from Super Mario Galaxy 2. Below is a cut version of the video:
@DreamcastGuy "The Super Mario 3D All-Stars Collection uses the Super Mario Galaxy 2 music on the start screen but Nintendo refused to put Mario Galaxy 2 in the collection and I am screaming lolololol"
https://twitter.com/Glimglow/status/1304856749241856000
Nintendo Switch subreddit user LittleLeaf2 noted how the same clip played the "SMG2 Remix of the Power star theme" instead of the original Super Mario Galaxy one.
"In the Nintendo minute 3D All-Stars gameplay they showed off the title screen which uses the SMG2 Remix of the Power star theme, as opposed to SMG1."
Of course, there's the possibility it's just an audio edit by Nintendo Minute.
MVG - who runs the YouTube Channel Modern Vintage Gamer, also pointed out how the same intro seemingly showed Super Mario 64 in widescreen, whereas the game itself in the All-Stars version is actually a classic 4:3 resolution.
"Wide Screen Mario 64 and Galaxy 2 music during the intro? Nintendo is just messing with us now"
So, what do you think about this discovery? Is this a sign of things to come, assuming it hasn't been edited in? Share your thoughts down below.

Not getting my hopes up!
Comparing it to the "Star Get" on original hardware vs. the clip in the opening, it looks to me that it's zoomed in closer to Mario in the opening (i.e it's not real widescreen).
To be fair that is how they achieved 16:9 on the Sunshine cutscenes in here along with stretching them.
Im not a fan of Dreamcast guy. As for the article. I think it might come later, but since this is Nintendo expect it to be paid DLC.
If SMG2 was unlockable when finishing all three games ... it would just be a reveal for the history books .... all kinds of Pokemon Gold and Silver levels of well kept secret when finishing Johto and then BAM!! Play Kanto all over again!
But, not getting my hopes up
@fafonio You beat me to it, but I'm hoping for the same thing. Unlockable after completing all three games seems like a high bar to access such an arguably important game, but bring it on.
I figure it will come out as dlc. Probably $19.99. I bet you'll get the music tracks too. We shall see.
if it comes off a DLC, won't buy. The games should be all in one cart.
The whole limited time release is silly too, like, if it's DLC you probably need the base game to play it.
I would understand if it was independent of the game though, where you could purchase it whenever you can, then by all means, great!
It really does look like there is ‘room for one more’ on the digital ‘cover art‘
People are asking for a finished game to be sold separately as DLC. No wonder the industry is a shambles with such a customer base.
I'm hoping that SMG2 is issued its own retail release at some point in the near future... perhaps even bundled with a sequel? Ideally, it should have been in this collection. I don't understand why Nintendo would want to keep it a secret though considering that the inclusion of a fourth game would make this sell even more copies than it inevitably will.
I agree with Toy_Link, it looks like it’s just zoomed in to create visual consistency between the games. Interesting about the sound clip though.
All I know is my preorder downloaded the other day and I'm super pumped!
Someone in one of the other posts suggested unlockable Mario Galaxy 2. That would be cool
DLC for a limited release seems even more dumb than a limited release. I highly doubt that’s in the cards.
As for it being unlockable... I mean, it’s possible, but as others mentioned it would be baffling to keep that a secret. There are people who are refusing to buy it because they’re upset it isn’t included. Why not advertise it?
I think it doesn’t ultimately mean anything.
I’m sure they used the SMG2 jingle because it’s orchestrated and sounds better. There is zero reason to believe that SMG2 is included in this release. The best we can hope for is that Galaxy 2 will be released as a separate title for $30 on the E-shop on or around April 1.
Would be cool if it was unlocked after seeing the end credits in all three games, but I doubt it.
It doesn't seem to be an audio edit.
They did it just to rile NintendoLife up and get an article out of them. Lol
I love the opening menu screen thou.
Funny, but no
Nintendo fans are getting more and more desperate! This remix of the Star Get theme is higher in pitch than that of Galaxy 2, but lower in pitch than that of Galaxy 1. It is as similar to Galaxy 1's Star Get as it is to Galaxy 2's. Which of these two games is in the collection? Galaxy 1! Hey, then that might mean this remix is meant to represent Galaxy 1!
As for the "unlock Galaxy 2 by beating the other games," wouldn't it be a bit strange to have the title screen, representing three games, use music representing the one game not in clear sighf?
It's getting funnier each day.
We live in a parallel Universe where Super Mario Galaxy 2 actually never existed. But everyone thinks it did because of the Mandela effect.
I half-jokingly suggested an unlockable Galaxy 2 after completing the other 3 games in a post days ago. If this is true it's gonna rock the gaming world upon discovery.
Not reading too much into this.
I actually never finished SMG2 because I lost interest at some point. It felt like playing SMG1 level rejects with nothing extra to me, and the space theme got old. So I'm not particularly bitter it didn't make the cut in the collection, but I'm sorry Nintendo didn't include it anyway as it's a fan favourite. They really are messing with the fans.
@Gridatttack you will buy it and you will enjoy it
Also this suggests to me that including galaxy 2 as dlc will easily work. And i will buy it no doubt. No reason to be angry. Nintendo can do what they please. Time for some people on here to go make a game industry... keep it succesfull. For years and years. Regardless if its reselling old games. Go on. Many have attememted and failed. If its good its good. Its funny how peoples memorys work.. and nintendo knows this. Even now i have memorys of these old games that i want to play again... now i can with the switch
.... time for mischief makers remake and snowboard kids now 😄
Maybe this version of the game is limited edition because Galaxy 2 is unlockable upon completing the 3 games - getting all stars?
After March 31st 2021, they'll simply sell all 4 games individually on the eShop?
lol yea right... I think there's no chance. Most likely this video edited in the music to create a stir and get more hits. Clever.
Won't believe that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is unlockable in this collection I mean it's not like there's any Mario game where it'll unlock another certain Mario game upon completion. Every Mario game I play in the past has had all games available from the get-go even the compilation ones like Super Mario All-Stars so for Nintendo to purposely put Super Mario Galaxy 2 in there as a free unlockable in 3D All-Stars makes too much sense and if we know game companies nowadays, nobody want to sell games that makes sense.
They want to do it their own way which makes no sense like the taking out local multiplayer from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and give us a barebone online experience when the game would make more sense had it was released last gen as a Wii U game which would work perfectly with the second screen or giving us local multiplayer with any kind of second screen.
Stop complaining about the missing galaxy 2 ... This collection just features 3 mario titels from 3 different consoles. marios first 3d adventure, his second and his third.
and it's nintendo ... if we ever get galaxy 2 on switch, it will be a zero effort 60bucks standalone port
Because Nintendo now sees how many people want galaxy 2 - so .....i can clearly see the $$$$$ sign in the nintendo CEO's eyes.
ka-tching - standalone release - much $ for almost zero work
Hiding SMG2 makes no sense, it would be a major selling point. I'm guessing they just used the best or highest quality file...which happens to be from the second game.
Besides, adding the file sizes for the original games together leaves just enough room for any adjustments as well as music. I doubt there's a secret 4th game.
@eRaz0r Well that's the interesting part, because all three games are remastered of games from different console, it would give new generation players a chance to live what veteran players had gone through by giving them a little slice of N64, GameCube, and Wii for their experience. If Nintendo had actually remake all of them then all games would feel too similar and new players would not see the variety in style from each of them. You'll basically be playing all three games with the same boring Super Mario Odyssey style graphics, do you really want that? Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't be included for the sake that Nintendo just don't want to see similar games in there.
The reason why the remake treatment works with Crash and Spyro is that Crash and Spyro doesn't had new games when those remakes came to fruition so when those games got remakes the updated visuals make sense, but for Super Mario 3D All-Stars it won't work cause we already know what a 3D Super Mario games for the Switch look like in HD and Super Mario Odyssey already gave us that. Remaking all three of these in modern HD style will make them look good but in the end they'll all just be given the Super Mario Odyssey treatment and modern gamers won't be impressed with that.
@Retro_Player_77 I agree about not wanting all three games to look the same. Most remakes feel soulless and plastic to me. I was disappointed the Crash collection didn't have the option to play with the original graphics. The new graphics in Ultra Street Fighter 2 also left me cold.
Right let's get this straight. Many many reviewers and Nintendo commentators, youtubers and streamers have all stated some well known facts about Nintendo. Firstly Nintendo likes to keep the perceived value of their games high. Some doubted the Mario 35th rumors simply because they didn't believe Nintendo wouldn't actually bundle those games and instead sell them individually for $60.00.
The second fact is, if Nintendo was to add Mario Galaxy 2 in the collection it would be giving the product too much value. Instead they obviously have other plans for SMG2. The most likely scenario is they plan to release it standalone either remastered for $30-40.00 or give it more content and release it for a full $60.00.
Nintendo would not sacrifice evergreen sales of the mainline Mario games by de-listing them on the eShop after March 31st either. So if they continue to sell them at a price individually (which combined would be more then the bundle price with the 35th collection) then people can pick the game they want instead of spending $60.00.
At that time Mario Galaxy 2 will likely then be available at the same price as the rest of the games (from the 35th collection).
I don't think this means necessarily virtual console as a branding is back, or that more games will be released. But Nintendo wouldn't stop people from buying their games just to build some artificial time window.
As for Mario 35 battle royal game, it likely will be removed from the Nintendo Online Service as a free game and will then be a for purchase price. However I think After March 31st (possibly to coincide with a new more powerful Switch Pro) they are changing Nintendo Switch Online and it's offerings.
I won't believe Galaxy 2 is in there until I see a real confirmation and I will not buy this until I know it is there.
If they want to sell it on its own later, I would buy that.
I would have preferred sparkling graphics and a cheaper price and another game, but in reality I know old Nintendo games tend to age really well with their control and music and finishing touches to still be worth buying like this.
Lots of other games from other companies (Crash as an example) REALLY show their age and needed to be pretty much remade to come up to modern day standards.
Reminder there were also Mario Galaxy (1 and 2) music on the 25 anniversary collection on Wii.
@Kimyonaakuma Well if there's only 1 physical stock run and preorders are already being cancelled because that stock run is limited then Nintendo hiding content wouldn't really mean much as you wouldn't be able to get it anyway.
@Gridatttack do you want some cheese with that whine?
Nintendo Minute are the toxic cancer of everything that is Nintendo. No one with a breain takes anything they say seriously.
I dont really care about Galaxy 2 tbh. It was good, but we got 3 amazing games in this collection, its not really needed. The backlash nintendo is getting for not including it is kinda dumb, and once again just nintendo fans never being happy with anything. Byleth Smash announcement all over again.
Nintendo is the company that cares about fans... the least but I still hope Super Mario Galaxy 2 is included as it should be.
@Antraxx777 The moment I saw the digital cover art I thought there was room for another game too. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
It's pretty obvious why Galaxy 2 isn't included. I mean, it's "3D All-Stars" not "3D Glorified-Level-Pack". 🤷♂️
@the8thark Well that seems unnecessarily offensive. They may not really have to be taken so seriously but to call them toxic cancer??? That's going a bit too far if you ask me.
@MrGawain crash was never a good game.
That would be great, but Nintendo would not hold that info back. These days they make sure to show everything you’re getting. Surprise me nintendo, do a cool
There’s absolutely no way it’s hidden and anyone who thinks otherwise is being ridiculous. It either comes as DLC, or it’s not part of this compilation.
Sadly it’s been pointed out on Twitter that the preloaded file structure for the game has been examined and it only shows three games. So unless SMG2 is coming as a patch or DLC it’s not an unlockable.
@fafonio i think when u finish galaxy it will unlock galaxy 2.that simple!
I get the feeling they'll announce Galaxy 2 as paid DLC about a year from now. Probably £14.99 or something y'know. Though not making the game available after March doesn't make sense if that's the strategy.
"Nintendo refused to put Mario Galaxy 2 in the collection […]"
Gimme a break already. These people sound so entitled. Nintendo didn't refuse anything, they just chose not to include it in this collection, like they didn't include Mario 64 DS or Mario 3D Land.
There's no Galaxy 2 conspiracy, grow up.
@ShadJV pretty dumb reason not to buy a game.
I would be very surprised albeit pleasantly if galaxy 2 was unlockable. On the snes classic starfox 2 was unlocked by playing the first but the system was advertised to include both. Who knows tho, this is Mario’s 35th anniversary, and it does deserve something special, but from what we’ve seen, it doesn’t seem like they are putting THAT much care into this product. I’m still buying and will love this collection tho.
@echoplex I agree, I quit galaxy 2 for the same reasons. Hopefully it'll be a standalone physical release next year, I'm not a fan of digital games so the idea of DLC is off putting.
@Waa-Laa Me too! I wanted to like Galaxy 2, got a few worlds into it and could not progress due to lack of stars. It was bizarre. Maybe if I went back and tried again, I may have missed something.
Either way, I am very excited to play sunshine on my switch.
OH MY GOD I HOPE GALAXY 2 IS INCLUDED! It was the game I most wanted an HD upgrade and port of!!! It would blow my mind.
why Nintendo added a music of a game that is not included on Super Mario 3D All-Stars?very strange and suspicious this.
@ShadJV Here's my thought. Maybe Nintendo knows how full of hot air gamers and the folks on the internet can be. The same people who complain about Call of Duty and Madden being annual releases, but go out and buy them anyways. The same people who complain Marvel movies are formulaic and yet are probably in the theater the first week regardless. The same people who claim to hate The Walking Dead and that it's no longer the show from Season 1. Yet, they seem to be right there after an episode every week discussing what happened.
I think you catch my drift at this point. And of course, it's not everyone. I'm sure there are those who true to their word and mean what they say. But there's a lot of hot air that gets blown about on the internet for no reason other than people just like to have something to say, whether they truly mean it or not. Maybe Nintendo is banking on those people buying it anyways and pleasantly surprising them
@UmbreonsPapa Who complains about something and then does it anyway? I used to complain about the annual cod/assassins creed stuff but I’ve never bought a single game in the franchise.
I dunno, it’s really hard to state a definitive about something like that. How do you know that someone who complains about something on the internet is then going and buying the thing they are complaining about? You would have to follow their comment history to see if they later mention the thing. Seems like too much work.
Nintendo included Metroid as an unlockable in Metroid Zero Mission on GBA. That’s the only instance I can think of where they included a game as a neat secret. Does that mean Galaxy 2 will be unlocked? Huge maybe, but I’m thinking that they are saving galaxy 2 as a separate release so they can fully monetize Nintendo fans.
@TG16_IS_BAE Animal Crossing (N64 & GC) had a bunch of NES games unlockable, too. But they were tiny stuff.
But as you said, having Galaxy 2 as an unlockable would be huge. Too huge to be true, I think.
For those of you who don’t watch Nintendo Minute regularly, Nintendo Minute has incredibly awful editing. I don’t know who edits their videos, but I’m amazed they’ve not been fired after all this time. I’m sure that was just a poor choice of audio for the YouTube video
120 stars in each game is the secret! Widescreen for Super Mario 64, Gamecube controller support for sunshine and the sequel for Galaxy! I love you Nintendo!
Imagine if an unlockable or DLC was not Galaxy 2 but Mario in the style of Sonic the Hedgehog. With long limbs and everything.
@Switcheroot Aren't choosing not to and refusing the same thing? I refuse to eat my vegetables is the same as I choose not to eat my vegetables!
SMG2 was considered an expansion, before turned into a full game release. It could be possible they combined it, but wouldn't be shocked if it isn't.
This is getting almost to "Waluigi is in Smash because Sakurai did an update wearing a purple shirt with a yellow chair in the background " levels of hilarious.
It means nothing.
@TG16_IS_BAE When you've been a part of communities for long enough, you know who the loudest people are and it's not hard to remember who is talking out of both sides of their mouth.
But anyways, it's quite prevalent for people to consume things they don't necessarily care for. They'll come up with all sorts of cockamamie reasons why they do it. Again, I point to the Walking Dead example. Whenever I go into discussions about an episode after it's aired, you get the people who claim they stopped watching or claimed to have thought it had been cancelled already. But you keep following their contribution to the discussion and eventually, they'll be able to tell you everything that happened in the episode meaning they are clearly watching despite the boisterous claims otherwise.
Same with sports fans who claim ownership or coaches are ruining their teams chances to win year after year. Yet, I guarantee you these are the same people dropping money to go see these teams.
Maybe it's different in gaming or at least I would imagine it's not as bad seeing the time and money wasted buying and playing a game series you don't like. But I get the feeling the gaming community has it fair share of internet tough guys who talk a good game behind their keyboards. But are doing the opposite in their real lives
@UmbreonsPapa I mean, that’s nice and all, but it’s just based around so much assumption.
Uh oh, it's the "missing extra style in SMM2" all over again...
I am sure alot of you might disagree with me on this one ! I personally love the nintendo switch , and most nintendo products for that matter. I do however think that nintendo is a bunch of money grabbing a holes , who only care about squeezing the most dollar they can drain out of people ( they do not cater to the gaming community , instead they exploit it by re releasing the same effing content and they know we are gonna pay for it ) Now don't get me wrong it's not just nintendo , I definitely understand that ! I love most nintendo games , but come on guys seriously !!!! This needs to stop , maybe it's just me and the older I get the more money concious I am about what I pay for , does anyon else feel this way ???? I'm just curious your feedback
Galaxy 2 is my favorite 3D Mario, I will pay up to full retail price to play it again on Switch. Whether that's as DLC here or as it's own standalone release, I sure hope they bring it over eventually.
It’d be cool if you unlock galaxy 2 if you beat the other games
@KnightsTemplar no need too. I already have it on the wii, whereas the other games will always be available in the cart. No point in buying something that will later be unobtaniable (but it doesn't really matters in the end, since by the end of the lifespan of the switch, the console will likely be easy to mod, so as long as the internet is up one might get the game via other means)
It would have been nice getting all the games in one, nice package, don't you think?
@AgentGuapo not needed.
I'm more annoyed at the thing that is a limited release. If they release galaxy as a stand alone game with no limit on when you can buy it, then cool, but making it a limited time DLC, along with owning a limited available time game seems silly. (and for those who purchase it, when the switch eshop closes down, you won't be able to redownload it in case something happens to your switch)
@invictus4000 exactly lol all that excitement!
It doesn't make sense
Beat all 3 and it'll probably unlock.
If it is unlockable cool and if not oh well I'm not letting myself rage about it. I preordered 3D All Stars because I never got around to playing Sunshine and was incarcerated when Galaxy came out so for me it is a good deal. I understand the frustration some have but I'm focusing on the positive not the negative. No I don't agree with every decision Nintendo makes but they are going to do what they are going to do.
@Gridatttack the wii is a dead console dude... only chicks collect wii stuff now. Keep fighting your loosing battle of dumb pride... millions of us will enjoy allstars without you
@KnightsTemplar how misunderstood you are. Wii stuff is relevant still, it's an accessible console with great games with how cheap it is nowadays and not everyone sells their console.
You keep mentioning a "pride" battle. It's not about that but rather the poor situation Nintendo is on dealing with this game.
However, based on your replies I doubt you even understand/know about this, so whatever, keep it to yourself.
And for the record, I do have preordered Allstars too, so sounds to me you have nothing more to say in the argument other than baseless stuff to try to look smart
BTW, I'm not against Nintendo releasing galaxy 2 as DLC either; it would be better if more people had the chance to play it.
@Gridatttack wii stuff is worthless. Im not trying to sound smart you fool. Its now sentimental.. but not for me. The wii is a gimmick. And a cheap one at that. Hold on to those memorys... Also.. by you pre ordering is a complete you turn on what you were originally saying. Enjoy allstars when ya get it.. i no i will be
@KnightsTemplar that's just your opinion on the Wii being worthless; pretty sure not everyone agrees with that statement.
And yes, for once, I agree with you: the Wii is a gimmick, but it has some cool games that don't require the wiimote gimmick.
And for the record, seems like you didn't read at all my original comment. My original comment was about how I won't buy Galaxy 2 if it's DLC only, but never I did mentioned I won't buy 3D Allstars at all, so no sure how you came up with that 😜
@TG16_IS_BAE Yes, that was a surprise at that time! Cross fingers for Galaxy.
Galaxy 2 as an undisclosed unlockable would be something else. I mean I would love it to be true, but I can't imagine it will when we're this close to release and beyond speculation and a music clip, there is no genuine evidence to suggest as much.
@AlexSwitch10 We will know Friday soon as it gets datamined.
you had to feature that hack dreamcastlies
@Jokerwolf yeah way to ruin it for everyone
@Gridatttack disney does it all the time stop complaining youre still gonna buy it
It would be hilariously sad if they end up releasing Galaxy 2 as a limited time DLC for 3D all-stars.
Imagine the game IS a hidden unlockable, and whenever someone discovers it there goes the last possible surprise. We live in a period when there's nothing to be discovered by ourselves. Even the menus, the interface... all is published in detail, even when it wasn't really that important to make news about it.
That being said, if there were plans of putting Galaxy 2 as a DLC or further update, Nintendo should have said that and explain the reasons behind it, because there was going to be backlash for sure.
@Gridatttack hey if galaxy 2 is dlc i got no problem buying it.. noone should. Why is everyone so entitled
@Gridatttack We just dont all agree the wii is the best console out there. Switch is the future. If you want to play on the go get it on switch.... is that to hard for you to understand. I no many people who dont own these old console to play these games.. i also have kids who have never played them. What ever came out on older consoles is completly irrelevent as we are not going to buy an old console. Please stop being ignorent and thinking your opinion is all that matters. Enjoy the game on switch and enjoy galaxy 2 when it evetually comes out. Until then chill man.
I would be prepared to buy it again as a retail full price release, providing it was a fully fledged remaster e.g The Spyro treatment.... But that wouldn't happen..
Galaxy 2's "Star Get" jingle was orchestrated, while Galaxy 1's wasn't. That's the entire reason why it was used.
No, no Galaxy 2 but here’s the music! Enjoy!
Fully expect Galaxy 2 to become available when the game goes off sale in March and all the titles become available individually. It'll be prived somewhere around £30 at least, and we'll all buy it anyway because by that point we'll all feel like we need the "complete set".
Why are some people saying Galaxy 2 will be DLC?
Like if they are releasing Galaxy 2 surely will be it's open separate thing on eshop outside and unconnected to this collection.
They will add Galaxy 2 or it's in there already.
Wait and see.....
Star fox 2 was unlockable on Mini after playing a level or two of star Fox - I wonder if galaxy will unlock galaxy two. This will be an epic collection if true
I wonder if Galaxy 2 will be unlocked after beating Galaxy 1. Or starting all 3 games. Kind of like how games like Ristar were unlocked in the mega drive collection on gamecube.
@TG16_IS_BAE We'll, this has certainly gone off the track, lol. I'll try to keep this short and be done with this. But to beat that dead horse one more time, you can literally go on any message board, comment section or twitter feed and you will find people bragging about hate watching a show or hate playing a game because it's popular. Sure, it may not be the case for anyone here. But a quick Google search will show you these situations are a thing. And it's whatever. People are more than welcome to spend their time and money on whatever it is they choose and for whatever reasons. If it's to simply hate on it, all the power to those individuals.
As for the game itself, I'm excited for 3D All-stars. I haven't played Galaxy and Sunshine since probably close to their releases. So I'm excited to dive back into those again. It stinks it doesn't include Galaxy 2 for those who want it.
Maybe they’re saving it for their next more powerful console. I can’t wait for Luigis Mansion 3 Deluxe.
@KnightsTemplar Not everyone is okay with letting a triple a company get away with sleezy practices. It's what keeps the industry from completely going anti consumer because people like you have zero standards and claim it's "entitlement" to not want to be screwed over.
@NintendoPok Well it doesn't really ruin anything, it adds more value to the package if it is in there and will create more demand.
Side Note: Anyone who thinks this is a one time release is fooling themselves. Nintendo re-released the NES classic AND the SNES classic like 6 months after their initial releases because the demand was not met.
@TalesOtaco zero standards...... i only own a switch. I want to play on switch. Now i can. da farks ya problem.
@TalesOtaco also tell me just exactly who is screwimg you apart from your own high expectactions
@KnightsTemplar Nintendo.
Expecting consumer friendly policies isn't exactly "high expectations" when plenty of companies manage to do so.
Limited stock, forced superficial demand, exclusive time limits, overpriced products, subpar development, purposely leaving out demanded products because you can sell it for more...all anti consumer policies. Hell, most of what comes of Nintendos ***** policies like limited supply or a limited run are tons of scalpers scooping it up and flipping on ebay for 5x the price. All because Nintendo thinks limited demand is "needed" to help push some of the most highly demanded products in the game industry.
I imagine you also think I'd have "high expectations" for expecting my 80 dollar controllers to not start drifting within a year.
This is a business transaction. If you were part of a deal and felt you were getting the short end of the stick, you'd have a problem with it. It's not like Nintendo is doing me any favors. They want my money. I'd give them my money if they delivered what I want. They want positive marketing. I'd talk positively about them if they didn't keep making decisions that hurt the consumer because the richest company in Japan are greedy.
The consumers who blindly buy any garbage Nintendo spits out and who constantly defend themselves getting screwed over only encourages Nintendo to keep doing it. This company isn't ran by Iwata anymore. They don't care about "gamers", only pleasing their stockholders. Sooner you see past their Disney lie, sooner you'll see how much they abuse their adoring fans.
@illmatic20xx I would buy that if that were to happen but that is a big dlc. But it does makes sense since it wouldn’t fit in the 4gb cart.
@KnightsTemplar you should teach your children to know their roots. Nintendo is timeless brilliance. 2 of my 3 kids have Switch Lites and small collections for them, and we still have a great time playing Wii Sports & Nintendoland because they're fun. You're playing yourself and your kids by only chasing "the future" of gaming. But that's only my opinion, and it shouldn't matter enough to upset anyone ✌️
@KnightsTemplar I suppose I can say the same thing to you. I'm simply expressing my disagreement of Nintendo decisions.
Sounds to me you should chill instead and stop assuming things. Never have I stated or intended that my opinion is "all that matters", nor that the Wii is the "best console", and calling ignorant by what points? I suggest you instead try to understand different viewpoints and not think having a different opinion attacks yours directly, neither only center on your "own" because as stated, not everyone will agree with you on everything 😜
I may like Nintendo and all but I'm not going the Nintendrone route and defend everything they do is perfect.
I already told you that I don't mind Galaxy 2 itself being released, because more people can play it; it's just the practice on how Nintendo is doing it with 3D Allstars that I don't agree.
@DLevene17 That sounds like it would be an April Fools joke, but it’s not.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Super Mario Galaxy 2 is on there as an unlockable
@NImH ok...... ok we have gone off track here.... alot of you here are just showing us all how childish you all are about this. Go spit the dummy then. If your going to say bringing up my kids on the future of gaming is wrong, well i got nothing more to say here... enjoy living in the past. Im sorry i didnt realise something nintendo sells would change everyones life and turn them into entitled babys. I no what i will be enjoying friday. I no all you people arguing your point will to. Rendering all of you hypocrites
@KnightsTemplar aww. My opinion still upset you.. Sorreee
My friend Timmy at school says his cousin's best friend's uncle, who is the president of Nintendo, said Galaxy 2 is unlockable if you 100% all three games, erase your data and do it all over six times total. Honest!
@arrmixer I believe Switch cartridges go up to 32gb.
Knowing Nintendo, they might even troll us, and do what they did with the Zelda Collection on Gamecube back in the day, and only include Super Mario Galaxy 2 as a pack in bonus with brand new Switch consoles, lol.
Putting my bet on it just being a sound effect they added in post
@InsertUsername yup I thought of that but that’s also an added expense. Either way I hope galaxy 2 does come as dlc since it was part of the collection.
Its just a re orchestrated version from the first Galaxy.
