I miss the original ash ketchum from the indigo league and pokemon the first second and third movies, after they changed the animation and fired the original voice actors the show is dead to me now, why did the pokemon company have to go and ruin it
I'm excited. I really enjoyed the first batch of episodes. While I really did love Sun and Moon, Journeys is a genuine breath of fresh air and a shot in the arm the series needed
@geni53yr7 same reason the show is dead to me as well. It being too much of a kids show is mostly why I'm disinterested in it, but if they had kept the voice actors nostalgia alone might have kept me watching.
@tamantayoshi I'm a kid, and still think the new episodes are fairly trash. I can see how they'd appeal to someone, but not me.
Oooh can't wait to binge this. Personally, I've enjoyed the first part of the new season.
The best thing they can do to the Pokémon anime is to let it die. And maybe replace it with something better.
Still waiting for this to come to UK Netflix
@geni53yr7 That’s literally pure nostalgia reasons. Like, why would you care they changed the animation? It detracts nothing from the show!
But is Ash still 10? That is the question.
But still not in Canada
@NookMiler : Ash left the womb as a 10 year old, he will die as a 10 year old, and when archaeologists dig up his remains thousands of years from now, they will date as being only 10 years old.
I really enjoyed the Sun & Moon series a lot, but this series... so far, i don't think is very good...
@geni53yr7 IMO, the original series was honestly never good. I think it's mostly nostalgia. X and Y was great.
And you mean art style, not animation. Sun and Moon had the best animation.
