Oh, this game still exists?
How about you fix that trash Y-Comm system that never seems to connect you to other players and is always showing old and outdated raids and trades?
They're also flagging hacked raids and not showing them to other players.
Well that was an eventful update.
By the way, they also updated Home some days ago, to resolve the issue with moved Pokemon not being registered in the Isle of Armor Pokedex.
Why have patch notes if all you're going to say is:
"Other updated content
We fixed several other issues to improve game play experience."
I love this game! Closing on 400 hours in it. The DLC totally shook up ranked ladder to the point that it's really a whole new competitive meta-game. I've made several new teams since it dropped and really enjoyed watching CybertronVGC, WolfeyVGC and aDrive play on ladder regularly.
@Shepdawg1 That's good to hear. I hope they also found a way to block those generator sites that poop out perfect 6IV shiny Pokemon for you. I don't want to name them, because I don't want to direct anyone to using them.
Although I do like that those sites leave their hackmons with the mark of shame that is the nickname and OT being the hack site.
It's never been easier to make competitive Pokemon. I made a trick room team, a TEAM in like 2 hours the other day. It would have taken 5 times that, at best, just last generation.
Bye bye hacked raids, you won't be missed! Also, the Y comm is much better now. I've been getting into raids way more consistently now, without the need to manually refresh as often. Also, I dunno if it's the change from 4 digits to 8 digits, but now I'm being paired to my friends instantly. Anyone that tried to start a Multi Battle with 3 other friends knows the struggle, it's gone.
"we stopped hacked raids"
Checks Twitch and sees its still mostly hacked raids
gottem?
Now if only they removed that awful 20 minute battle timer for 6v6 singles, then the games would actually be pretty decent. 3v3 is unplayable with how broken the meta is, being about to play 6v6 casuals would save the game.
Ah, they forgot to add more stability. And here I was, about to download the game. Without feeling stable, I just can’t do it.
Game freak please fix the lag in the forest and caves.
For the people who want generate pokemon look up Oakslab on Twitch. Yeah yeah it's ''illegal'' and stuff but if that does not bother you go ahead.
@heavyarms55
The only thing that needs fixing is the framerate.
I think I read on reddit somewhere that the Ycomm issue happens most when you’re in the wild areas. If you go somewhere quiet like the Pokémon center and use the card refresh trick you get a lot more refreshes.
This helped me get some Zeraora raids in.
Glad to see they are fixing some of the games issues.
@BrintaPap Yeah go ahead and cheat - just know that if you ever want to play in a live tournament you'll be blacklisted when they find out.
@Heavyarms55 not interested in playing Pokémon competitive, believe it or not.
I always was just completing my dex, legal with my friends and then move on to the next game. Was building a comp. team but I prefer using teams pro’s made to save me time. I still agree with you tho about that making a team easier then ever before. Since the last dlc getting gigantamax is even better for building really good teams.
I was just saying where you could get perfect pokemon. If people want to use them that’s up to them.
To be honest I think Sw/Sh are good games, not great and they could be much better them GameFreak allows it to be.
@BrintaPap I have zero issue with people who hack and mod single player games or only use that kind of service in single player modes. But I don't want it anywhere near any kind of competitive multiplayer.
And while I understand that the hacking is pretty restricted and the game does block anything impossible - like illegal moves or too many EVs/stats - I still see it as a spit in the face to both other players and the developers.
I used to be a lot more open to similar services in Pokemon because in older games it was outrageously tedious to create a competitive team, demanding hours and hours of work but that has been fixed progressively over the last couple releases.
Anyway, I agree that SW/SH are far from perfect and have flaws still. But they are great games regardless, especially in the multiplayer sense.
So... no buddy feature migrated over to the main region? ...and no gyms added to the Isle of Armor.
"just know that if you ever want to play in a live tournament you'll be blacklisted when they find out"
That's not how it works. All pro competitive players have hacked teams with perfect stats and movesets, although they didn't necessarily do the hacking themselves, oftentimes it's someone else who provides them with their requested Pokémon. Sometimes their Pokémon are even in 'illegal' balls (like a Cherish Ball for a non-event Pokémon), yet no one bats an eye.
Battle codes are such a drag, I hope gamefreak patches the online raids to make it easier to find others to join your group. Getting into ranked matches or tourneys is no problem but trading or MR battles take forever!
