Well, this is a surprise. Square Enix has updated the Switch version of its 1997 role-playing game Final Fantasy VII. It fixes a few issues that players have been encountering.

Here are the full patch notes for version 1.0.2, courtesy of Perfectly-Nintendo:

- Fixed a progression stopper under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue with a Save Crystal.

The update before this (version 1.0.1) was released in May last year and fixed an annoying music bug that was somehow reintroduced in the latest release.
