Nintendo has shared a list of the top 15 most-downloaded Switch eShop games of January 2020 in Europe, and it's a familiar Switch frontrunner that's taken pole position.
Yes, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has grabbed a Bullet Bill and zoomed right to the very front of the queue this month, possibly as new Switch owners head to the eShop to pick up must-play titles after getting their console for Christmas. Minecraft is also proving to be as popular as ever, remaining in second place for another month.
You can check out the full list below. It's based on the number of Nintendo eShop downloads (so no physical sales) in European territories during the whole month:

Can we all please make a pact to stop buying Mario Kart 8....... That way Nintendo may consider giving us Mario Kart 9
@Arkay It's the same case with Super Mario Party, they're both games that a ton of people have and are still selling consistently well, yet Nintendo refuses to give DLC to

@Arkay @ToonStuff I agree! But I guess you could say Nintendo already gave us that DLC in the Wii U edition, which was sold as part of the standard Mario Kart 8 game for Switch, aka the Deluxe edition.
Oh, nice, Rocket League made the list. Impressive. And beat Splatoon 2? That's surprising. Although, rocket league is $20 vs Splatoon 2 $60 on eshop. And Splatoon splatfests ended.

Brain Training seems to have done quite well for what it's worth.
Dragon Quest XI definitely deserves some attention. Great game so far!

@Audiogore0733 Speaking of Salmon Run, ever since last summer, I've struggled to get above Profreshional 100's. Before then, I used to hang around Profreshional 200-400's.
MK8(DX) is kinda like GTA V, a title that just keeps on producing sales long after its initial release.
Nice to see Splatoon 2 in there.
Disappointed Overwatch is selling so poorly.
