If you've been on the internet recently, you'll have seen, heard, and read about the Tesla Cybertruck whether you wanted to or not. It's everywhere, and apparently 'everywhere' now includes GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64.
YouTube user Graslu00 has shared a video showing off a side of the N64 classic that we haven't seen before. Thanks to a bit of modding magic, both the Tesla Cybertruck and company CEO Elon Musk have been placed into the game. The best part is that it genuinely looks like it belongs in there - if we'd have seen this back in the '90s we wouldn't have questioned it, that's for sure.
You can see it in action in the video below; Graslu00 takes the Cybertruck for a spin in the game's 'Streets' level, where the car fittingly replaces the tank available to Bond for the duration of the mission. Seeing Elon Musk's face pop up for the first time is a particular highlight.
Technology, huh?

Prefer his 'Elon Tusk' incarnation in Rick and Morty.
Genius. Just hope the windows don't get shot.
That’s fitting given how he’s clearly a Bond villain.
Well it was rendered and engineered on an N64 so I guess this is fitting.
Gonna be honest, never heard of the cybertruck. Looks dumb though.
I doesn’t look out of place.
An explosion behind musk and the Cyber Truck, like at the end of this mission, would have suited the real presentation also.
Elon's a big gamer, he'll probably enjoy this.
That modder is really Onatopp-a things! :3 Ok... I’ll see myself out now.
@Mii_duck
That's what I was thinking. Fully expected to see Bond shatter both windows on one side. Maybe even with the karate chop. ^^
Elon Musk uses SNES's FX chip to design his truck.
@Lordplops Give the truck to Q and I assure you that he will modify to it have REAL bulletproof glass.
@Lordplops "You son of b----, I'm in"
(I think that was from the same rick & morty heist crew episode?)
The guy that invented vertical landing rockets goofed the window test, somehow.
@Woomy_NNYes Integrity of the glass was compromised because they took the sledge hammer to the door's first. A silly mistake that costed them all the Internet ridicule, but as we know nowadays going viral for any reason is always free publicity. Heck , look at us talking about Tesla on a Nintendo website.
@Woomy_NNYes that's the one 😁 I lost track of who was doing what for whom. Which I think was the point.
@Shiryu worst advert for Tesla was in 'Silicon Valley'. A product should never, ever, ever be featured so prominently as to actually be a part of the script.
That truck is the only truck I have ever been interested in buying.
@Shiryu Ha. Is that what happend? Ridcule wasn't my intent I stopped by the NASA Wallops Island Launch Facility on the way home from the beach this summer, because SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets launch & land there. I've watched launches from home fly off into space. So, I lovingly wondered how the guy that invented vertical landing rockets screwed that up. Elon Musk is awesome.
@Woomy_NNYes Yep, it was explained the very next day, but the damage was (quite literally) done and very few people except the ones that actually keep up with Tesla read about it.
Graslu00 is a Goldeneye/Perfect Dark legend.
LMAO, seeing Elon‘s “face“ had me in tears.
Elon Musk believes we are all in the matrix so he probably couldn't give a monkeys mate!
The head room in that thing must be pretty bad.
Hoenstly first thing I thought of when seeing the low poly truck was N64 games and what better than 007.
@SetupDisk Genuine question, why? what is the appeal?
I don't know much about it, and I get that we all have individual taste – but to me, although it stands out, it's double-bagger ugly – especially the hubs.
I’ve wanted this car ever since Michael Jackson turned IN to this car... way back in Michael Jackson’s MoonWalker movie in the late 80’s 😉
Just wait until he calls 007 a predator.
