The Parco Store in Shibuya, Tokyo has been closed for renovations since spring of this year. However, that will change this Friday, November 22nd. With its grand reopening, the public will finally have access to the Nintendo Tokyo Store.
Journalists in Japan have recently had the opportunity to go in and explore some of the merch available for consumers, and what they show is absolutely amazing. From every Yoshi colour under the sun, to Kirby bento sets to shirts featuring Pokémon sprites designed out of Mario blocks, there's something here for every Nintendo fan.
We'll be sure to cover the grand opening of the Nintendo Tokyo Store this Friday, so be sure to check back for a detailed review soon!
Is there anything you'd like to get your hands on from the Nintendo Tokyo Store? Let us know in the comments!

Yes. The contents. ALL of the contents.
Good to see black yoshi made the cut this time
This again makes me believe a Nintendo store in the UK (a permanent one, not temporary as the Pokemon store was) would thrive.
that store is about to get , serious. London poke pop up had Qs around the block and sold out of everything, whats it going to be like in japan
Mario sitting on the groin of Mario looks rather odd. xD
I wish I could go there. I'd love to take pictures of those statues. If I lived in Tokyo I'd visit every day.
@Jayofmaya
Looks good to me
@jockmahon I'll find out on Friday.
I can almost hear my bank account screaming looking at these pictures
@Jimez A store like this would thrive in shopping centres/malls globally. I've said this before, I'll say it again. Nintendo has brand recognition and loyalty on par with Apple. They could expand their retail footprint and still be very successful. I don't think every city should have a Nintendo Store but I do believe large urban centres in almost every country where Nintendo already has a presence would find successful retail opportunities. In Canada for example, I know for a fact that Nintendo would have profitable stores if they set up in Toronto and Vancouver. While I wish my city, Ottawa, would get one, I doubt we'd have enough of a population to sustain a Nintendo store. But Toronto isn't that far away (5hrs by car), it wouldn't be that difficult to get there. But my point remains, stores in major urban centres across North America, Europe, and the U.K. would give a serious cash injection in to an already successful Nintendo. It's time for the company to expand beyond just New York and Tokyo (sure they're in Tel Aviv but that's a weird one. But if they can open there, they should be able to open EVERYWHERE)!
Does anyone spit any merch for their B tier franchises (I don't mean in terms of quality)?
If ever I'm going to find metroid and fire emblem merch I'd have hoped it would be here.
Just need to go for a day... take an empty suitcase.
Why can't utah be cool as theres..
Which Donkey Kong merchandise do they have? Did anyone notice in the video?
@DarthFoxMcCloud I live in LA and I’ve said for a long time that a Nintendo store at the Grove would do big business.
@AJWolfTill While you won't find Metroid merch, you will easily find Fire Emblem merch in any major store such as Yodobashi Camera in Japan.
@DarthFoxMcCloud as someone who lives in Ottawa as well I totally agree with you.
Having something like this in the capital of Canada would be awesome and make the trontonians jealous. Haha. Jk. But seriously they seriously should open one up in Eastern Canada. If not ottawa then TO for sure. Just a 3hr car ride.
@Sephazon this is exactly what makes me upset. No Metroid Merch!
@AJWolfTill i hoped for Metroid Merch as well being a huge Metroid fan and collector.
Need one at Mall of America...
