Forget the million-seller chart-toppers. Forget that band who have been your favourite since your teenage years. This right here is the concert you've been waiting for.

As part of the Nintendo Live 2019 event which took place over the weekend, Nintendo held a concert starring Callie, Marie, Pearl, and Marina of Splatoon fame. As we've seen in the past, they were accompanied by a live band for almost an hour of non-stop Splatoon hits (it's genuinely worth watching in our opinion), but this time they were joined on stage by Animal Crossing's K.K Slider.

Our favourite acoustic guitar playing dog took to the stage as the opening act, giving us a cute rendition of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme - which we're already in love with - before teasing the main event with a quick blast of Splatoon music. Our favourite part of his performance came at the 1:50 mark as he gave out a small howl; the crowd seemed to excitedly join in for one of the most wholesome things you'll see all year.
