Next month sees the release of the 3D platformer New Super Lucky's Tale on the Nintendo Switch. The title started out as an Oculus Rift exclusive in 2016 and was previously released on the Xbox One and PC in 2017.
The slightly newer version on Nintendo's hybrid system promises to offer brand-new thrills, friends and skills. A new trailer for the game has also revealed you'll receive a bonus space suit costume if you pre-purchase a digital copy of the game ahead of its big release on 8th November.
In related news, the digital version of the game will require approximately 7.6GB of free space on your system. If you would like to find out more about this upcoming release, check out our exclusive with the game's developer Playful.

I'll probably miss out on the pre-order bonus. I stop buying games in November in event I get something as a Christmas gift. I am looking forward to this one, even more having experienced the PC version, even if there are differences in this one.
Hope people who pick this up have fun playing through Lucky's adventure.
It would be cool if they could just, you know, include this for everyone.
@JayJ But then, how will they pressure you to buy it?
No love for physical preorder?? Just if you rent from the eshop? Noice.
The last game i preordered was Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. So this preorder is a big fat NO as i learned my lesson and will wait for the reviews.
@CurryPowderKeg79 I think, looking at previous ports of Microsofts games like Cuphead and Ori that this game will run flawless on the Switch. The studio that ported them did an excellent job and both games are Full HD docked and run at 60fps.
However the past does not mean the future will be the same. There also is really no good reason to pre-order this game anyway. But I do not think you will be burned if you did anyway.
wait for a sale like i did on xbox. if you like 3d platformers i think you will enjoy it, of course it's no banjo but it's a solid 7.5/10 imo.
Not really sold on this. I'll wait for reviews.
Anyway, there are a bunch of other games I'd rather play or finish first. Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair; Witcher 3; Dragon Quest XI S; AI: The Somnium Files; Ori and the Blind Forest; Ni no Kuni; Return of the Obra Dinn; oh, and Pokemon is coming out soon.
And then March rolls around, and there's Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy VII Remake. And then April brings Trials of Mana and Cyberpunk 2077.
LOL I need days to have more hours in them.
@Ralizah I feel you man it hurts, so many games and so little time and if I play games I always end up with Smash... darn that Smash!
@PBandSmelly
What does this have to do with Rare?
@Northwind I saw those reviews, but then I went and looked at what actual users said (like the xbox forums or something?) and they were super positive. I don't know what the critics didn't like, but users seem pretty happy with it.
@Toy_Link
Ok so I got some misinformation about who made this game from my friends. Sorry about that.
@msouth
I’d agree with that. I think the reviews were pretty harsh. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s a really good solid, fun game that controls well.
I tried to get into this series but it isn't for me. That endless grind....
@Northwind in the treehouse event for this game they talked about the ways they are addressing the flaws of the XBONX release. Tightening controls and increasing camera freedom were two of the outstanding fixes that they mentioned. They also are adding new story content.
Which is only to say that those reviews may be dated and not as relevant for this upcoming g release. Hopefully it’s a much better experience!
I was actually looking forward to this... till the old version popped up on PC Game Pass. It really is not all that good if you grew up playing Nintendo.
Still installed on my PC but not played it in weeks.
I moved Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair higher on my Switch GameFly list.
Wil there be a physical release ?
@DockEllisD
Good, I'll wait for that.
@DockEllisD
I don't mind waiting
i have quite a lot of games to be getting on with.
Not convincing me to go digital. Physical for me.
But she's got a new hat!
