Fire Emblem: Three Houses is easily one of the biggest games on the Nintendo Switch. In an interview last month, Intelligent Systems' director Toshiyuki Kusakihara said it took him 80 hours to complete just a single storyline. If you want to play through all three pathways, it will require more than 200 hours of your time.
With all this content on offer, it has got certain players wondering about what is hidden away within the game that hasn't been publicly revealed just yet. Now, a YouTuber by the name of DeathChaos, who has been sifting through the game's files since its release last week, believes they have stumbled upon future content updates for the game.
DeathChaos revealed Sothis – the mysterious green-haired girl, who Byleth meets at the beginning of the game – has voice lines for combat and levelling in-battle, and is also available for school classes and activities. These findings suggest Sothis will become playable in the future – perhaps within the DLC portion of the game.
Speaking to USgamer, the YouTuber said:
So far Sothis seems to be the only unique discovery in Three Houses, but that's not to say more like her don't exist since there exist literally thousands of character entries that we have not yet figured out who they belong to
Would you like to be able to play as Sothis in Fire Emblem? Have you picked up Three Houses yet? Leave a comment below.

Wish these dataminers would get lost! Not reading the article these people need to get a life or a job.
@Filth_Element Nothing wrong with data miners. Insulting them like that is needlessly rude. They flat out tell you there are spoilers, so why did you click on the article in the first place?
BANJO!?!?!? Who would have guessed?
Also if she is a integral part of the story, then why wasn't she playable at launch? Idk, just seems wierd to hold her back for DLC.
@patbacknitro18 Well where I am at in the story, I would not have guessed she would ever be playable. For story reasons that, even though this is a spoiler article, I am not gonna mention.
Actually she was leaked as a playable character before the game launched. She even has S support.
So basically releasing it months after the games release means just to see her class voicelines and see her in battle, you would need to play the game again, wish games liek this would bring dlc characters out on day one or maybe a couple weeks later, same goes for games who release dlc costumes 4-5 months after the game comes out (persona 5) where most people have already completed the game
@ReaperExTenebris Nintendo has a fantastic DLC record.....HOWEVER, the devs behind Fire Emblem have a rather shakey DLC record. Awakening on the 3ds didn't have any issues, but Fates was terrible. Imagine if 3 Houses made you pay $60, but you could only choose to side with 1 house. And if you wanted to play again and check out the other houses, you would have to pay an additional $120. Fates locked it's story behind a pay wall, and there was an extra 3rd game option that they released as DLC after launch. Meaning in order to play the full game, you'd have to pay $100. Thankfully they stopped that crap after Fates.
I wasn't really impressed with the DLC for Echoes, but I thought adding extra characters from the card game was a cool extra. If they just add characters that already have artwork, models and voice recordings it would just be lazy...
To be honest given that the person has a support level with Byleth based on player responses, this seems to be expected
I'm hoping in the DLC that Nintendo patches in the ability to S-Rank with Claude as male Byleth. The dialogue is all there, he seems like a character that should be able to. It's almost like Nintendo was going to do that but then they chickened-out at the last minute but didn't decide to change the dialogue.
Ew, dataminers, ew
It could just be cut content also.
Sothis is love...
Cool, DLC and stuff like this will add to my reason for 2nd and 3rd play throughs with other houses.
More Sothis pls
@patbacknitro18 Pokemon’s been doing that since 98
