If you want to show your fellow inkling and octoling which side you'll be supporting in this weekend's Splatoon 2 'Splatocalypse' and happen to live in Australia or New Zealand, tomorrow you'll be able to purchase a Team Chaos (Pearl) or Team Order (Marina) t-shirt from Nintendo's AUNZ website.
These shirts will be available in limited quantities and require a Nintendo Switch Online membership to purchase. Unfortunately, no pricing details have been revealed. These are the same shirts previously promoted for other regions.
The final Splatoon 2 Splatfest will take place this weekend, starts on 18th July and will run for a total of 72 hours. For more information about this event, check out our previous post.

Went to the US shop and they are all sold out.
@Gridatttack It's a shame that the ones in the US shop sold out on Day 1... I was really looking forward to purchasing one.
Only knockoffs and scalper listings seem to be available for those who missed out.
I'll jump on and take a look in the morning if I remember. Might buy a Chaos one if they're not too pricy.
Update: They were a bit pricy (especially including postage) but I bought one anyway.

Still can't buy in the UK - I was hoping to wear these for the actual event. Seems crazy they can't organise it in time.
Another day, another ploy to try and get people to sign up to NSO. I like these, but they should've sold them through EB Games or something.
Funny that Europe was first announced to get them and certain American people acted like we should never ever complain about anything again.
Good for AU/NZ that they get a warning, that gives me a little hope after how the NA shirts were handled. They were $30 by the way, so we should expect a similar price.

Only credit cards in Europe (which is a little odd since you need a Nintendo account and you can link it with your Paypal). No idea about other regions.
@Manah So no Paypal? Noooooo! I have a maestro debit card, but Nintendo usually doesn't accept those

Unfortunately not It really doesn't make any sense. I'm lucky I know someone who lets me use their card, but they're not as common as debit cards around here.
@TheAwesomeBowser I mean... you need NSO just to participate in the Splatfest these are themed on... I’d wager those were their target demographic with these shirts?
What abilities come on these btw? How many slots?
@Dev893 same here but just picked up Team order. I really wanted to order the chaos one as well but when I realized I would never wear a shirt with pearl on it I got the k. Rool amiibo instead 😂

@Dev893 Framing it actually sounds like a neat idea! I might do that to mine after I wear it at galaxy con. Pearl may forever be absent but the king is looking pretty fresh on the shelf 👑 Those posters need to sneak on my nintendo soon!
