The latest batch of My Nintendo game discounts for Europe has now gone live, giving players the usual chance to grab a handful of games at discounted prices.
There are just the four new discounts up for grabs this time around, once again being limited to just the Nintendo 3DS. As always, you can take advantage of these discounts by simply using the required Gold or Platinum My Nintendo Points listed below.
- [3DS] 30% off Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World: 120 Gold Points
- [3DS] 30% off Nintendo presents: New Style Boutique 3 – Styling Star: 120 Gold Points
- [3DS] 50% off Kirby's Dream Land (Virtual Console GB): 20 Gold Points
- [3DS] 30% off Pullblox: 60 Platinum Points
While Switch My Nintendo discounts are still just a pipe dream at the moment, Nintendo did recently reveal a voucher system exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members which enables you to pick up two full price games at a discounted price. You'll also find plenty more deals in Nintendo's huge Go Digital sale.
Will you be taking advantage of any of these offers? Remember, your Gold Points can also be spent on Switch software directly from the eShop or a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, too.

I will get New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star Europe version physically from playasia due to NO physical release of Style Savvy Styling Star USA version.
If you are used to paying over the top prices to download Nintendo games then maybe the voucher scheme might save you a few quid, assuming there are two games that you want to buy together, but you would still be paying over the odds compared with physical prices.
Yes. It’s that time. Fantastic my Nintendo rewards for all of us to enjoy. Wonderful
@zool not really. A quick search on Amazon shows that you could get Zelda and Smash for £92.98 physical. Or Zelda and Mario Odyssey for £86.98.
It depends on the games you want. Since Mario Odyssey and Smash would be £83.98. Just 2p cheaper to buy physical.
So, it’s not really ‘over the top’, it’s the same as anything and will vary a tiny bit store to store.
3DS. Every Time
New Style Boutique aka where ring a ding the best song in smash came from
I got the steamworld heist discount, mixed it with discounts on pocket jockey and Zelda oracle of ages. These discounts on smaller games are really great! (Maybe going for whooly world next.)
Welp, Wii U deals are dead. Once those previous deals are gone, looks like it'll just be 3DS only.
Foolish me i thought this was going to be Yoshi's Crafted World for Switch. Oh well looks like i'll be getting the physical game at Walmart for $49.99.
Old times of games Just Old times..
@zool You can buy a lot of games, but, you save money buying games on release day. AAA Games are normally $60 brand new, they don't get discounted on release day ever. And it's good for a year, so, you buy a game like Mario Maker 2, and use the other one on Pokemon, Metroid, Animal Crossing, or something that hasn't even been announced yet.
If you're an early adopter it means new Nintendo 1st party games are $50 instead of $60 like most other AAA games go for these days.
Kirby. Nothing else to spend my points on.
@Nintendo_Thumb Right! Games I play frequently I prefer digital. And now we can get the games at launch with a nice discount. For me it will be Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing.
For other games, like Yoshi’s Crafted World, I am waiting and will buy the cartridge when the price is right.
The vouchers will soften the blow a little when buying a digital version that you can’t loan or resell.
I'm missing the Wii U virtual console games being on offer.
@ummyeahnintendo Only in Europe. Every time.
@Nintendo_Thumb Most Nintendo AAA physical games are 15-20% less than eshop games on release, in the UK anyway. And the physical copy has a re-sale value.
Guys, quit your whining about no My Nintendo offers for Nintendo Switch. You can use your gold points people. But I will admit, it’s a bit frustrating that there are no My Nintendo exclusives for the switch. Not a deal breaker though.
@zool obviously, this deal isn't for people who prefer physical. It's a digital discount. If you like physical then forget it, this is for people like me who don't plan on reselling our games, who prefer the convenience of always having our games ready to play asap, without worrying about looking for cartridges to swap out when we want to play something else.
This is the argument that's been made for a long time now: physical games are more expensive to produce, so, digital games should be cheaper. Now they are. (and not just in special store sales at a certain UK retailer)
@Nintendo_Thumb new Nintendo eshop games are not cheaper, if anything committing to paying for two games at a time gives you a discount maybe equivalent to some physical games.
Logic would suggest a downloaded game that does not need an expensive card, box and third party markup would be cheaper than physical copies, like a digital book. But Nintendo think not.
Ending My Nintendo would be more honorable.
It just brings shame for Nintendo.
