This weekend, some of the best Smash players from all over Europe will be getting down and dirty in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate European Smash Ball Team Cup 2019 (try saying that five times fast).
It's all kicking off in Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam on 4th and 5th May. Eager fans can still get their hands on a limited number of free tickets for the two-day event by visiting the official ticket website, but you can also watch the action unfold from the comfort of your own home via livestream on Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

The teams will be split into four groups on the opening day; you can see the matchups below if you want to pledge your allegiance to a particular country.
Not only will the winning team leave as champions of Europe, but they will also walk away with a special trophy and customised Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers. To top it off, they'll then represent Europe at the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 in L.A. on 8th June for a chance to become world champions.

I wonder how anyone is expected to practice or get good if the games primary mode runs like it's the 90s.
