Planet Entertainment and FarSight Studios have revealed that Party Arcade is headed to Nintendo Switch on 23rd October.
Described as being "perfect for gamers and party-goers of all ages", Party Arcade is the sequel to the Game Party series on Wii from the same developer, and is set to feature an arcade collection of classic games and party favourites such as air hockey, billiards, darts, cornhole, cup pong, ping pong, puck bowling and hoop shoot. It will also support up to four-player multiplayer, both local and online, giving players the chance to become the undisputed champion on global leaderboards, or just among friends.
The Joy-Con's motion controls can be used to full effect here, with a simple flick of the wrist helping you to throw darts, hit balls, and slap pucks. Or, if you prefer, you can always plonk the controllers back on the Switch and use the analog sticks for a traditional gaming setup. The game also features extra in-game challenges and unlockables in the form of equipment. There are over 60 pieces of equipment in total which can be used during your matches.
Game Features:
- Tournaments regular tournaments with prizes!
- Prize Shop 60 unique pieces of equipment
- Multiplayer 1-4 players local or online
- Challenges extra challenges for single player
- Leaderboards for each game, including challenges
As mentioned above, the game is scheduled for release on 23rd October and will launch for $29.99. If you or anyone you know is the Nintendo Karen type, we're sure you'll absolutely love this one.

Wow, I forgot about Karen (the tagline). Thinking about her again, Super Mario Odyssey multiplayer with spilt Joy-Con was (and still is) a really bad idea at parties. Maybe something like Mario Kart would’ve been a better choice.
Oh no. Not Game Party....
Hm...
Not bad.
With $30 price tag, i think i might consider to buy it.
One thing that Nintendo gamers can't get enough of, are casual party games. Please publishers, keep'em coming!

Should of kept this a secret for the direct
Ah god, this looks amazing <----sarcasm
Nintendo Karen! I miss her...
Karen is getting ready for smash.
I enjoyed simple games like Wii Sports as well as deeper ones in equal measure, so I have no problems with this, especially since I often find my Switch being used as entertainment at family gatherings where most of the people there aren't gamers at all. Nothing wrong with a wide variety of games available.
Ah yes, Bocce, the popular nightclub party game.
Omg, KAREN!!! I desperately need a Karen Mii in my Tomodachi Life!
