Indie developer Flightless is bringing its real-time strategy space game Element to Nintendo Switch later this week, and we have a new trailer to celebrate.

The game is actually described as "a real-time strategy space game for people who don't have time to play real-time strategy space games," focusing on sharp, accessible gameplay that doesn't require hours and hours of your time to get the full experience. It features a single player adventure, multiple planet levels with intelligent AI, and a world where home no longer provides a means to survive.

A fight for resources to escape our system has begun and you are right in the centre of the action. You must visit each planet, mine enough element, and defeat the enemy to progress to the outer planets and beyond. You'll need to generate energy, build attack and defence units, and then destroy the enemy while maintaining a balance between earth, air, and water.

The game will be available directly from the Nintendo Switch eShop from this Thursday (27th July) for $11.99.

Do you like the look of this one? Make sure to tell us below if you'll be considering picking this one up later this week.
