Following on from its reveal back in November, developer We Are Fuzzy has revealed the cutesy twin-stick shooter Sleep Tight will awaken on the Nintendo Switch eShop on 26th July. Not only that, but the game - which has been designed by developers with experience at Bungie, Ubisoft and Pixar - will come with 12 unique playable kids you can use to keep back the monsters besieging your bedroom.
With plenty of base building action to be had (with everything from pillow forts to water balloons on hand to keep you safe until sunrise, there's clearly going to be plenty of variety in gameplay to go hand-in-hand with those eye-catching Pixar-esque looks.
What do you make of Sleep Tight's cutesy gameplay? Worth getting out of bed for? Share your thoughts with the NL community below...

It's a bit hard to tell anything about the cute gameplay and if it's worth getting out bed for from a small screenshot but I do like twin-stick shooters so I'll keep an eye out for it nearer release.
Kind of like Dream Defense for mobile, looks like a lot of fun tho! Definitely will be picking it up
Should add the trailer to the article too! 😛
@OorWullie Here's a trailer of the game:
Looking forward to this.
It's cool seeing childlike innocence in games like this. Children building a makeshift fort out of toys' tables and whatnot and using toy weapons to fend off monsters from the bed/closet/etc. That being said...
Co-op or bust.
I'm certainly interested. If it reviews well I'll probably grab it. Spent many an hour blasting imaginary monsters with my friends from similar forts during sleepovers.
This sounds awesome, and very cute too!
The graphics look like Toy Story. I love it!
(Please be good! Please be good! Please be good!)
Looks cool, will wait for the reviews first. But i really really wish this had local co-op play. Would have been a more instant purchase from me if it did.
It looks very cool and a unique take on the genre.
@Fake-E-Lee i totally get that sentiment, was used to Ps4 gaming which most of my games are violent and very adult oriented. I got the switch partly to alter my gaming to a more wholesome level now I have a little daughter running around. Most of my switch games are suitable to play in front of her and whats more, i dont feel one bit like im missing out. Switch is by far the best console Ive ever owned in a number of contexts, family friendliness is one of them.
This game looks great fun, very keen to read a review when its out.
I want this game!!!
Looks interesting. Will wait for a review
Twin-stick shooter + tower defense. Looks awesome
@TossedLlama I'm not sure why anyone would play a PETA game except to scare children with or laugh at. But I guess it's free. Not giving money to PETA is always a plus, especially for animals themselves.
@Fake-E-Lee If TD is your poison, Bloons TD 5 has it all in spades, hopefully we will get it in the eu store soon...
@Fake-E-Lee oh yes 😃 Casual gaming at its finest but loads of depth and variety
I was hooked when I saw the trailer for this game and was really hoping that it had a co-op mode to it, but in the end, it seems like it’ll be single player. It would be nice to just sit and play this with my kids or wife. Single player sounds fun, but couch co-op could be so much better, to me. I’ll most likely end up getting it, if the reviews are good.
