We're huge fans of the Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre franchises here at Nintendo Life, so we were quick to download and enjoy Circle's Mercenaries Saga releases on the 3DS eShop a while back.
Now, the publisher has revealed that it is bringing all three games in the series to the Switch in Mercenaries Saga Chronicles.
There's no solid release date as yet, but we cannot wait to play all three of these amazing tactical RPGs on Switch. What about you? Let us know with a comment.

Something tells me 2018 is going to be another good year. Keep them rolling out Nintendo.
Need more Physical release !
I did miss it on 3DS but I will not miss it this time!
I did consider getting these on 3DS but the full set in one pack on Switch might finally help me take the plunge, assuming it is realistically priced
Please bring in a physical release and I'll happily double dip. Love these kind of tactical games.
I’m up for these if the price is reasonable. Like people keep saying, so many great games to choose from.
That's awesome! I got number 2 on my 3DS but at the time I didn't really have the time to play it, from what little I tried though I recall liking it quite a bit.
A definite must buy for me.
Wow I really enjoy tactical rpgs. I will pick this up when it releases!
Love me some FF Tactics style gameplay. Will be keeping an eye out for this trilogy!
I'll have to keep an eye out for this, I'm really enjoying the indie games on the Switch and I think I'll keep that up in 2018.
Mercenaries Saga is the most average trilogy in existence. No joke, there is absolutely nothing uniquely bad or good about them. If you like tactical RPGs like I do there's some fun to be had, but I mean wow. I'm struggling to say anything about it other than "it's a tactical RPG."
Fantastic pick up and play. I used as a warm up to the genre before I could really enjoy Fire Emblem I needed a primer.
This is 90%game, 10% story.... Fun and a great first step.
BUT; What is the first game?
3DS got 2 as the first one.
The story is laughable, especially when compared to FFT, but they are competent games. I'm glad they'll be on Switch.
I actually got 3 on my 3DS over christmas for less than a fiver! Well worth it and was a good alternative to Odyssey. I LOVED Final Fantasy Tactics and while not as good at all, its definitely fun and so worth it at that price
Considering part 1 didn't come over, that's pretty cool. Wasn't too shabby from what I could demo, just didnt have the time to put in the game.
Double-edged sword: if it doesn't sell, people may not bring other 3DS titles to Switch; of course, if it does sell, everyone might start porting 3DS eshop games that were "meh" at best (Archaic Sealed Heat, the US eshop version).
