Ever since cereal maker Kellogg's announced it was once again teaming up with Nintendo to release a Super Mario-themed breakfast line we've all been banging our empty bowls with anticipation. It's due to exclusively hit US stores on 11th December (you lucky people), but the Big K has dropped a delicious tease for a potential UK release.
When quizzed on Twitter as to whether the product - which includes amiibo functionality for extra coins in Super Mario Odyssey - the official Kellogg's UK & IRE account responded with, "Patience is a virtue ." Could we really be seeing the much-hyped, Lucky Charms-style product on British shores or Kellogg's just trying to get us all hyped up over nothing?
We've tasted a bowl for ourselves and we were left impressed, but is it enough to get you excited for the release of a cereal? Let us know in the comments section below.

Will be interesting to see if they make it here and in what form - it looks very sugary and I believe we these days have regulations against marketing very sugary cereals at children.
But but I love my English breakfast.
Bet it will be a Morrison's Exclusive, and don't have one of them on my little island
Will definitely pick up a box of these. Already enjoy Lucky Charms as an occasional snack/treat (not for breakfast) and these look very similar. Hopefully the fun police don't interfere and stop it launching here.
Nintendo made a cereal before. It got discontinued in a year.
True to Nintendo, they'll be only 1 box per supermarket.

"But but I love my English breakfast."
Sometimes i eat Rice + side dishes or Noodles as Breakfast.
Seriously??
Anyhow...
C'mon Nintendolife, I just read the "official" November NPD. Put it up.
@Franklin don't know about Europe, but my American midwestern town of 45,000 is getting 100-200 boxes at major stores according to a Kelloggs tracker.
Ha, I eat "kids" cereal all the time for breakfast and I make no excuses. I'm in my 30s and I love the stuff.
In fact I have to buy it from special USA import stores (for $10 USD a box), because Kelloggs Australia has rarely done anything original here in decades. No Kelloggs Apple Jacks, no Kelloggs Cinnabon, no Lucky Charms, no Fruity Pebbles, no HoneyComb, no Trix, no Cinnamon Toast Crunch, no Cap'n Crunch, and the list goes on. Most of those are not Kelloggs, but we don't even get clones either.
We got a Lucky Charms clone ONCE, in the year frickin' 2000. It was Pokemon cereal from Kelloggs (celebrating the first Pokemon movie).
So you guys in the UK, enjoy the Mario cereal while it lasts!
Really hope we do get them in blighty...will deffo buy them
@Alikan
I intend to buy all 200 of those boxes as, er, Christmas gifts for my friends.
Yes, that'll do...
I'll try it out. I love lucky charms so it should be good.
I would get one just as a collectible. If it has no animal product in it, I might even get it to eat. Totally down for it.
Do we know what the amiibo does yet?
Will the DLC include a dose of vitamins and minerals?
I love Nintendo but they should not target kids using Mario to entice them to eat terrible junk food such as this. It's not even food.
What about the rest of Europe? The world doesn't end at the border of the UK you know?
@Timsworld
It used to.
Unless 'Scots Porage' oats start offering this too, I don't think I'll be participating.
It's a load of rubbish anyway apparently. Just a knock off Lucky Charms. The amiibo does exactly the same as the standard non-Mario amiibo in the game, so you're not missing much.
This reminds me of the horrible Pokémon cereal that was released by Kellogg's in Australia circa 2000. It was basically Cheerios with marshmallow pieces that barely resembled the Pokémon that they claimed to resemble. That and it tasted like what I can only assume is poo. But being a child/rabid Pokémon fan, I felt a duty to eat the crap.
Might come out??? this will be everywhere
@Raylax Sugary or not im gonna definitely buy the shop out!
