Rhythm action title VOEZ is getting a physical release in Japan in early 2018, it has been revealed.
The game - which has now been downloaded over 40,000 times worldwide - will be repackaged with bonus content, the details of which aren't clear yet. However, we do know that it will include the option to play on the TV using the buttons on your controller - something that wasn't possible with the original eShop release.
There's no word on whether or not this new edition of the game will make it out of Japan, but would you be interested if that was the case? Sing a song in the comments section to tell us.

I think it will be like Beatmania IIDX Controller.
Konami Should bring Dance Dance Revolution to Nintendo Switch.
Wait, how ?
If they patch this into the download version I might at least make it to the end of the free demo. Maybe not, though. The music in that game is really not my thing.
I'm not even sure if I can move fast enough for that to be a viable option for me. After owning the game there are some inputs that require several fingers so I don't know how well I'd personally do going to a controller. Also TV lag.
If they updated the eshop version to add this functionality, I'd pee my pants!
I hope the eshop game also receives the tv mode update. I'm not sure how it will control, maybe they'll change the notes to button icons? But even so I'd just love to be able to play the music out my surround sound speakers while playing on the TV.
I've been holding off on getting this in the hope that physical buttons control options were added, so that I don't consistently smudge my nice new screen.
Fingers crossed that this will be patched to all versions, which seems likely.
Gotta gives props to these guys, THIS is how you support a game after launch!
Extra free songs and now even a new way to play, with most likely more new songs on the way judging from that "additional content" statement and there's no doubt in my mind that this'll also come to the Eshop as an update ^_^
Please Please bring that Docked mode feature to the West too Rayark!!! I'll love you forever if you do that!
Wow yes. I'd import this. I liked the idea of the game and tried it free on my mobile device but all the nickel and diming charges on there I erased it. I wasn't going to pay $30 for a digital rental, but as a physical game with it already stacked and packed I'd get it.
@Sinalefa
There ya go
Tried the demo but found it too big to play with one hand and didn't want to play tabletop.
This may work for me.
.......gah, I hate it when physical versions are announced shortly after I already purchased it digitally! I really highly prefer physical versions, so this really, REALLY stings. Ugh. ...I hope this 'bonus content' comes to the download version as well, or I'll be really pissed.
@JaxonH
I am not rebuying this, but if they update the original I will be happy and would play it way more than I do.
Not more than Miku ofc
SOLD! Physical edition is music to my ears.
I am curious to see how they will implement controller option. There are songs that I wish I had 4 hands instead of 2 as it is now
@Zach I would pee your pants too!!!! pause
this would definitely be an import or jshop download if not localized
@Zach You're saying you'd enjoy it more than The Pirates of Penzance?
I got the update and I don’t like it. I still peed my pants though, out of principle
