The release of LEGO Worlds on the Switch is just around the corner on 5th September. To celebrate this monumental occasion Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group have released a teaser trailer with a Switch flavour, which you can view above.
The physical version, priced at $39.99, will include two bonus packs of premium DLC, Classic Space, released in July, and the upcoming Monsters pack, which will be available in October. The digital version, priced at $29.99, includes the base game with the DLC available separately on the eShop. Both premium DLC packs will be available on all other platforms as well, at $3.99 each.

I see what they did there.
Played this on the PS4 and hated it.
Nope, I couldn't resist this on Steam when it fully released, followed up by a quick refund, just another mediocre Lego game disguised as something more, don't be fooled.
I don't know, I actually really liked it, despite its shortcomings. Bought it on Steam earlier this year and have it pre-ordered for Switch so I can play on-the-go.
One more to buy in a future summer sale =D
Hopefully it will be good. Preordered it
It's just a mediocre Minecraft clone with a twist, right? We already have MineCraft on the system and Dragon Quest Builders 2 is coming, so no need for this.
Next!
Was good in beta then they quickly changed it all and released it officially. Defiantly not worth the £24.99.
My eyes can't accept Sooo... Blocky Minecraft textures .
I'll stick on Portal Knights instead.
I got it in early accsess, loved it, played about a month, never touched it again. would enjoy picking it up again
@BigYellow I bought this game when it was in early access but I use a Mac, I was hoping it would come to Mac but it didn't. How do I ask for a refund?
It's in Steam under Help > Steam Support > Games, Software, etc. If your game isn't listed, it might not be refundable. You'll have to search to find it and see if you can get one. The process from there is self-explanatory. Refunds only have to be fulfilled if the game has been played less than 2 hours and has been owned less than 2 weeks. Still a fair chance though.
Im getting this
I'm interested. I have no attachment to Minecraft, but I do to Lego, so I want this to be good and don't have 'Minecraft Copy' blinkers on.
My son will certainly want this game. I'm glad to see it's not $60
Wasn't this the game that was like vastly different during its beta or something? And now it's not at all as good?
@YouSeemFRAZZLED To me it just looks uninspired and it's metacritic score doesn't fill me with confidence. It doesn't look like it does anything new. I rather wait for Portal Knights or Dragon Quest Builders 2. This is coming from someone who loves almost all things Lego as well.
@Arngrim Basically, in beta it was an open world game with very little to do, but still tons of potential. Upon release however you're forced to trudge though a filler campaign where you fly to different tiny levels where you do the same 3 missions over and over again and slowly unlock more tools that get forgotten as soon as you move to the next world. I never got to the point where you can build freely in a massive space, but it's barely been touched since beta.
It seems like the Switch's legacy will be, at the very least, that it was the console that finally made publishers price their digital games cheaper than the physical counterparts, albeit by cleverly differentiating just a little bit, like throwing in extra goodies or DLC that don't sum up to the price but serve to make both products technically different enough so that retailers can't complain.
