Less than a week ago we shared details on a rather interesting Kickstarter campaign for a game called Hex Gambit, a turn-based strategy title from developer One Man Left. It had a modest goal of $11,000 to fund a PC and Switch version, and it's comfortably hit that target.
The funding goal has been hit with over 20 days to go, so the campaign is likely to add more stretch goal details in upcoming days; so far it's offering increased match customisation options at $15,000 and a new 'scenario' at an unspecified total.
If you need a reminder of the concept the video below should help.
It looks rather decent so could be one to watch - the current target release window for Switch is April 2018.

Yeah!
Backed as I feel that not just the Switch but the whole industry needs more games like this. Looking forward to how it develops.
Reached Kickstarter goal. Confirmed? Do people still think those are the same thing?
I don't believe anything I see about Kickstarter games anymore. So many companies receive the funds they need to release their games on Nintendo consoles, but they unapologetically abandon them when things become more work than they expected or they don't anticipate high enough sales. And then people who contributed hoping for a Nintendo version are stuck and can't get their money back. I will never contribute to a Kickstarter. I figure my purchase of the game when it releases is good enough way to show my support.
Re: Legend is close too. Less than 100,000 now.

Backed it as it looks fun. Hopefully there will be enough people playing to keep this interesting
I thought it had to do with Hex Heroes, another still unreleased KS.
I dont know what the think about this game. It seems fun but there's something I cant explain who push me back. The time will tell.
I once backed a game on Kickstarter.
It's name you ask? Yooka Laylee.
Backed it as a last hurrah for that oh-so of tragic consoles, the Wii U.
It got cancelled.
I got offered the chance to instead have it on my PS4, as specified, in April.
I declined.
I got offered my money back. Again, I declined.
I chose to have it on my Switch. The thought of playing it anywhere, well, that was just too much for me to comprehend.
Looking back, I should have chose the option to simply play it in front of the TV.
By the time it launches, I'll probably be playing a 3D platformer made by this company called 'Nintendo'
Get the feeling it's gonna be pretty special.
Sigh
Wheee.
@thesilverbrick Well, moving forward will be the real test as whether they do that just to inflate the donation numbers OR IF the Wii U was such the beast to port for everyone said it was. I think it's probably a mix of both.
@G0dlike Yeah they need to get that out before Super Mario Banjo Kazooie Odyssey launches. That game is gonna completely scratch that itch.
@G0dlike I backed it too, but I'm hoping Playtonic is using their time trying to improve/polish up the game since it got lukewarm reviews and we haven't heard anything about the Switch version recently. I would rather play it once they are really ready to release it
@Dang69 We'll see. I imagine we won't see as many abandoned Nintendo Kickstarter games this time around, seeing as the Switch is reportedly much friendlier to ports and is on its way to building a far more respectable install base than the Wii U could have ever dreamed of doing. But it'll take time before I can ever trust a Kickstarter promise enough to throw money at a game before its even developed.
@thesilverbrick Speaking of that kind of sitch, Mighty No. 9 hasn't even made it to the 3ds yet. Not the same situation entirely, but yeah.
