Just recently we shared a Japanese trailer focused on Max Brass in ARMS, with the now-familiar fighter due as a new playable character in mid-July as the latest free update. It gave us a good look at how the foe's moveset will be utilised once players get their hands on him.
Now Nintendo France has published the same trailer, along with a description stating that Max Brass will join the roster on 12th July.

New content is always fun.
That's great and all, but that Splatoon Direct completely obliterated this game from my mind and the minds of many others that I've seen. Still, the spectator mode that presumably comes with Max Brass will get a lot of use from me, Smash's did, especially if they let you gamble. Gambling's enjoyable when there's zero stakes!
Love me some free dlc. Wish more people did this.
I haven't decided on whether to get ARMS yet- how are people enjoying it?

Personally I prefer ARMS over Splatoon. And without splitscreen multiplayer in Splatoon I could see Splatoon struggeling with the same success comparing to its predecessor. The Switch gets marketed as easy to pick up and play multiplayer machine with using only one console. Atleast ARMS do offer splitscreen multiplayer, using single-joy-cons as controlleroption is allthough questionable.
I´m still enjoying ARMS alot no matter alone or together with somebody. So much dept with the different kinds of arms. Looking forward for new upcoming arms to mix up the fighting strategies. Hopefully a statically shown rankings will follow up aswell

@HappyMaskedGuy I'm enjoying it. Usually get about 10 ranked fight before switching over to kart 8 or BOTW. Its great online but lacking in single player content.

I really love this game much more than I ever thought I would. I've put in 40 hours or more already and still want to play more. I play online often but I have just as much fun playing against computer. It's just a new style of fighting game and it is super addictive and pretty original in my opinion. I tell other people that ask the same thing bout if it's worth it or if they like it. When it comes down to it it's just a one on one fighting game in its core for the most part. Myself personally growing up with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat I've always had a lot of fun with fighting games but if you are only kind of into the genre and get bored in a little while then you might want to try before you buy. My personal opinion though

Ill be playing the level 1 and 4 grand prix with him. Nothing more. Boring update with a known character and known level. Also i dont like playing the big guys in arms.
Could max brass be spring mans father? Reminds me a little bit of tidus and jekkt.
Really looking forward to the next character to be released. I kind of don't really count Max Brass as a new addition since he's been there since day 1 just not playable.

@HappyMaskedGuy I love it! Normally I only play fighting games while I have friends or family over, but I've been playing the single player modes a lot! I would definitely recommend it.
This guy looks cool and all but I'm more excited to see what comes next. Having already fought him in Grand Prix, I'm not exactly under the impression that he'll be anything special.

Max Brass seems like such a cool character. I just love all the Arms characters.
Finally beat the final trial in Zelda, which has allowed me to jump back into Arms. I'd been held hostage in Level 3 difficulty Grand Prix, but I set the difficulty down to Lv 2 and it's been such a blast. The game is insanely fun when the difficulty isn't set too high

ARMS is insanely fun, anyone who is interested in it, I'd jump in. It'll be interesting to see the other DLC characters and arenas they develop for the game.
