Nintendo UK has confirmed that two more classic anime series are now available for viewing via the 3DS Anime Channel.
The Legend of Zorro - known in Japan as Kaiketsu Zorro - originally aired in 1996 and, as the title suggests, is an animated take on Johnston McCulley's famous hero.
Robin Hood - known in Japan as "Robin Hood's Great Adventure" - was shown in 1990 and focused on the outlaw's childhood.

You can check out episodes from these classic series via your 3DS right now. Will you be giving them a watch?

Will likely watch an episode of each show to give it a try
Can't wait to watch Bernardo rescue Prince Zorro from the clutches of the evil Monterodorf!
There;s a 3ds Anime channel now? When did that happen?
@crackafreeze A respectable answer.
Can we have a 3ds anime channel?
@Dtbahoney It's not available in North America, because NoA hates us.
@Seanmyster6 ...which baffles me. NoA lets games in that style like Senran Kagura, Lord of Magna, Rune Factory, The Legend of Dark Witch series, and Azure Striker Gunvolt (as well as its anime short) go through, yet they can't bring 3DS Anime Channel over. What's the logic there?
I used to watch those anime while I was a child, I think when I was 8 or 9 years old. Those were golden, especially Robin Hood.
@StephenYap3 Those are third party games... Nintendo has minimal input on what happens with those either way.
I want a 3DS Anime Channel D: Come on America.
Not unless I go to Russia and connect to some public wi-fi there, apparently. Even having a Russian account (Nintendo: "what's a belarus?") isn't enough. Region locks aren't fun enough if you don't have territorial IP locks on top, right? XD
I watched the Robin Hood anime years ago. Highly recommended.. can't forget his signature move every time he draws an arrow. He passes the arrow feathers through his lips, nock it on the bow, point his hand like a gun, then shoot.. unforgettable!
@Ralizah I know they're third party games and the fact that Nintendo has no control over them (for the most part), but the point I'm trying to get at is that why NoA is okay with anime games landing on their systems, but not the 3DS Anime Channel, where people can watch them on their 3DS's?
Unless if somewhere down the line NoA has a change of heart and brings something like that to the Switch, I just don't see how NoA can't realize that anime fans exist in the US...
I remember this Robin Hood from when I watched RTL2 in the late 90s because it showed anime like Sailor Moon which the UK had yet to receive at the time.
I just want all episodes of AOSTH,but it seems they stopped adding them.
Robin Food. Lol.
@StephenYap3 @Seanmyster6 Licensing.
It may be a licensing issue here in the US.
@H_Hunter I had the first three episodes on VHS, watched it all the time as a kid. If I recall, they released it in the UK around the same time as Robin Hood Princes of Thieves, no doubt to ride that wave of interest. And yes, the arrow-firing animation is epic!
@DarthNocturnal It's more a "retelling" with the band of outlaws being reduced to kid's size.
I watched it when I was very young (on a french channel) and it was relatively good. Like mentioned above, the stock scene for the hero's firing was funny.
