Persona 5 ranks pretty high up on people's lists regarding what they want to be ported to the Nintendo Switch. We guess these requests started to become grating to Atlus/Sega of America PR manager John Hardin, as he tweeted out this statement and GIF which is appropriately accurate considering how many times he's been asked about the games coming to Nintendo's latest console.
As of now, the only game from Sega that has been confirmed to be in development for the Nintendo Switch is the new 3D Sonic game coming later this year that's simply titled 'Project Sonic 2017'.
It's safe to say that Sega and Atlus will support the system with a decent amount of games during its lifespan, since Sega has supported Nintendo's consoles heartily in the past and rumours of Atlus bringing a new SMT game to the system next year.
Comments 133
That's a bit of a blow.
I would also like to confirm that the new Mario will not be coming to the PS4.
But they didn't deny it coming to the Xbox one.
@Phin68 no way
It's like it's the Wii U all over again. Nothing but 1st party Nintendo games for the Switch lol.
(And no, Ubisoft doesn't count).
Definitely disappointing considering their relationship. Maybe down the road but at least I have a ps3 to play this on.
Honestly, I feel Sega's been giving Nintendo the shaft lately considering we aren't ever going to get "Sonic Mania," and the "Sonic Advance" trilogy has been out in Japan for WiiU for a year now. (And most Japanese gamers don't even like Sonic ironically.)
I think they're punishing Nintendo fans for not liking "Rise of Lyric," and such.
@Yorumi Right? It's like they don't want money.
i'm tempted to go all tinfoil hat and see sony's hand blocking this, but i think there are more shin megami tensei titles on the 3ds, then the persona titles go on sony. might just be how they do things at sega in regards to the series. wouldn't be surprised if the next smt title was exclusive to nintendo.
Not surprised. But would've been cool if it was true.
Ah well, at least Nintendo gets Etrian Odyssey.
I really don't know who thought that Persona could come to the Switch. It's the same thing with Kingdom Hearts and virtually all other Japanese games. Japanese games are on PlayStation. That's just how things are. You're not going to see Metal Gear, Kingdom Hearts, Persona, or any of those games on a Nintendo home console.
Very unprofessional way to address it on his part.
@KirbyTheVampire It's understandable though. He is just the American PR guy yet people keep asking him about these things despite Japan making it very clear that these games are only coming to the systems they specified. He's fed up with people asking the same question even though the answer hasn't changed.
@LeRaposa I can list quite a few Japanese games that are on the 3DS
I like how firm he is about it. Have a backbone about it. Don't just talk about "plans".
I'd like to see Tokyo Mirage Sessions continue on as Atlus' Nintendo exclusive. Maybe sharp Hyrule? Or Fire Emblem again.
P5 would have been great to have on the go.
Hardly a surprise, it doesn't take a genius to deduce that sticking solely to Nintendo will do you no good.
@Beau_Skunk
As far as I'm concerned, Sega can shove Sonic right up their Genesis.
@LeRaposa
Nintendo's had at least 2 MGS and a couple Kingdom Hearts.
First death sign for the Switch - it's gonna have a Sonic game on it.
Just saying, you don't see shovelware like a new Sonic game on PS4 or Xbone.
@Okumei Still solely to Nintendo? Everyone was just wanting a Switch port of the Persona games.
@XCWarrior Uh, both Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017 are coming to the PS4 and Xbone. One of them isn't even coming to the Switch (as far as we know).
Thats just non-sensical ina commercial sense. He will eat those words. I bet it comes to switch eventually. Switch is going to sell like mad and they'll port all sorts of things to it. I dont hear any glowing reviews of the amazingly awesomeness of the mid-gerneration console updates that MS and Sony have just done. I think switch is going to conquer all.
Fine, dont port your crappy persona game to the switch, see how that goes for you...
I bet you'll regret it!
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Ah, well that explains this then:
http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2017/01/ps4_physical_game_sales_increase_as_uk_industry_suffers_blow
Video games are doomed. I blame Sonic.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy I was referring to the lack of overall third party material generally published on Nintendo consoles. Regardless, I assume the majority of us who intend on investing our time and money into the game are already familiar with the series, and do in fact own a Playstation of some kind.
shrugs Didn't expect it anyway. Atlus has been pretty good to Nintendo and the 3DS in particular this generation so I'm really only concerned about them translating that attention to the Switch.
@Beau_Shank
Sonic Mania is being developed by an indie studio so the speculation is that they didn't even have a Switch devkit at the time. That may have changed now or more than likely will change soon. I seriously doubt that we'll get Sonic 2017 and not Mania, if anything, I would have expected it to be the other way around with some BS about "power limitations".
@Pete41608 Nintendo's also had the SMT games, Etrian Odyssey, Persona Q, Dragon Quest, Bravely Default, an Atlus collab in Tokyo Mirage Sessions and god knows how many Marvelous games. That guy has to be trolling.
@XCWarrior Well PS4 and XBone both have 2 Sonic games arriving this year and Switch only has 1.Unfortunately not the one that'll likely turn out to be good.Maybe it'll be announced next week.
Considering every Persona game outside of Persona Q has been a PlayStation exclusive, I don't think anyone should have expected otherwise for P5.
I have heard rumors of a new Shin Megami Tensei game coming exclusively to the Switch sometime in 2018, so it's not like Atlus is completely ignoring Nintendo. Atlus will most likely continue their tradition of developing Persona exclusively on PlayStation and SMT exclusively on Nintendo platforms.
There is no way Nintendo had development kits out in time to get Persona 5. I wouldn't be surprised if Sega is holding back until they see initial sales. There wasn't much launch titles for PS4 either from third parties.
Dang it. I really wanted it on Switch.
@LoveSugoi
Reminds me of people who say things like 'Nintendo will never get ____' then when you say that they actually have already had them, their stance changes to 'oh really? I never cared about Nintendo, so I wouldn't know.'
lol
I guess Persona 5 is a no go on the switch, eh? Or on the ....PC...whatever that is..
To the surprise of nobody.
I'm not really surprised by this at all. Did anyone really expect this? Persona 5 is only on PS3/PS4, with no plans or mentions of an Xbox One port, nor a PC port. So yeah it wouldn't make sense to expect one on the Switch. And this doesn't really spell out doom and gloom either, considering this is most likely a third party partnership deal on sony's end. I appreciate that fact that he was upfront with it, instead of being misleading. That said, I'm still hyped for Persona 5 later this year.
Don't mean to be pessimistic but this is starting to be like the Wii U launch. This game and that game, oh and that one too, you guys want them? Well you can't have them.
I'm only hopeful because these are exclusivesome. Andromeda on the other hand is multiplatform. Every multiplatform game that skips the switch makes me cringe a little.
At least they are not blaming it on the power of the system this time around.
Sony is doing what they gotta do. Keep games exclusives to their platform.
PS4 it is then.
Wow, that was kinda harsh. Can't say I care, but I feel sorry for others who had been hoping.
@bezerker99 Bit early to say that, isn't it? As far as I know, this is the first "unofficial" news about a game that won't be ported/coming to Switch. And its not like Switch is being deliberately excluded (notice how Xbone one also wasn't specified). This is just an exclusive. Doesn't mean its the Wii U all over again.
Good, the last thing I want in those two franchises is more of Nintendo's idiotic censorship.
I'm surprised anyone thought there where even slim chance of this comming to switch.
Two PlayStation exclusives confirmed not to come to a Nintendo console.
Not surprised, but certainly disappointed. P4G was one of the best games I've ever played, bar none. Hopefully this doesn't indicate an emerging trend on Atlus/Sega's part to distance itself further from Nintendo consoles.
Not sure why the doom and gloom. It was pretty obvious these two weren't coming to Switch.
This isn't news.
Now, what's actually news is that in the replies to that tweet he was asked about Etrian Odyssey V, and unfortunately he hasn't heard anything about it. So unless that's PR, it doesn't sound like a localization is coming soon, which is a shame.
Persona has always pretty much only been on Sony systems, with Persona Q being a one off due to the popularity of 3DS in Japan. So this is no surprise.
Look on the bright side, at least it won't see the treatment that TMS #FE got.
PlayStation exclusive in not coming to a Nintendo platform shocker!
There are some games that will never appear on Switch and this is one of them.
He didn't need to be jerk about it. Also, it was obvious they weren't coming to the Switch. They're Sony exclusive games. Stop building false "hype" by making assumptions. It's rather embarrassing at this point and only creates unneeded hatred of games that need love too, not just Nintendo games.
This is disappointing. I bought the Wii U because of Xenoblade X, looks like I might have to get a PS4 for Persona 5. Really don't want to have to do that, mostly play PC when not playing Wii U. Nothing on the Switch is a indicating a must have for me.

So its really no surprise, Its not even on Xbone, so its clearly an exclusive. Nothing to get too worried about.
Good. I have a reason to keep my PlayStation 4. Not everything has to be ported to the Switch. And for people saying that he was rude, he wasn't. He just got fed up of a request that involved a lot of NDA on his part.
NintendoLife, Focus on the things that will come, not what stays exclusive on Ps or Xb.
This kinda news is not relevant.
@Phin68
Hahaha love your comment.
This isn't really news.
If they announced Mother 4 for Switch, then that would most definitely be news (and far better than Persona IMO).
Its the same as someone writes about xbox one or PS4, that zelda Breath of the wild will not appear on ps4 or the next ps5 or the Xbox.
See how stupid that sounds, lol.
It's getting harder and harder to decide which home console I'm finally going to buy this year ... PS4 (for Personna 5 and Berserk Muso) or sWiitch (for Zelda Botw and MK8.1) ?
@bezerker99 you mean those dozen or so (minimum) absolutely essential games unavailable anyplace else? Oh, how we suffer for our support...
@The-Chosen-one It's definitely not the same. Zelda is a Nintendo IP. Persona is not a Sony IP, nor is it from a 2nd party. Persona Q has been on 3DS for example.
They could have brought Persona 5 to the Switch if they wanted to, but they choosed not to. It's another bad sign for the Switch.
@Kalmaro not every money is worth wanting, to be fair.
No Sh*t(!)
Welp, Switch is doomed. And so is that "PC" thing it's also not coming out on - I bet that's because of reportedly weak hardware, too. XD
Speaking seriously, Persona hasn't even appeared on Xbox family to my knowledge. And while I'd definitely prefer playing it straight on the go to having to stream it, it's probably not unfair for Sony to boast an exclusive lineup from Atlus, considering that their consoles haven't seen new flagship SMT releases since when, PlayStation 2? It's probably to Persona's credit that some people even forget it's a spinoff subfranchise.
At least 3DS got Persona Q, although we may owe more of that to the crossover nature and the second component having been a Nintendo exclusive for years. XD And of course, there's Tokyo Mirage Sessions whose SMT part of the recipe proved to be conspicuously Persona-esque. May be arguably all the cooler to get all those Fire Emblem characters instead of izanagis & Co for a change.
Since I bought the Take your heart edition I'm kind of glad that will keep on PS4 only. I know that is selfish but screw it.
That said I can't complain about atlus, a lot of my 3ds titles are from it (more than 10 games) and Sega, yeah they're doing fine too.
They are very picky on their platforms choices. They really don't want Persona to take off outside of Japan.
This is a shame. I have a PS4 but I would have totally gotten P5 on the Switch instead, these kind of RPGs would be perfect for a hybrid console.
Seems like a missed opportunity given how popular Persona and handhelds are in Japan. I hope Atlus make some nice Switch games.
I think people are forgetting that technically this game has it's own engine that was made with the PS3 and was in development for 4 years. Heck they had to push it back a year so they could work on a PS4 version. I HIGHLY doubt Atlus would have had access to a Switch dev kit in time to make a Switch version even if they wanted to. Why are you surprised by this?
As far as I know the Persona series has always been pretty exclusive to Sony consoles unless I'm much mistaken - yes i am aware of spinoff titles such as Q and the dancing and fighting ones. So no shock here.
I was looking to play P5 on the go so it's a shame it's not coming to Switch. It would be a great fit. I spent many wonderful hours playing P4 Golden on Vita.
In other news, Water is confirmed to be wet
SMT is better than Persona anyway since it doesn't target the girls audience with fan service.
he could been more kinder about it. although, im not surprised.
i'll surely get it on PS4 soon, thanks to SMTFE, it got me interested in the SMT/Persona franchise.
@MrAmanojaku when was the last time Nintendo Censorship a third party game, that they not published?
Was there ever any question about this? This will happen shortly after Bayonetta 2 gets ported to the ps4.
Meh, Persona 5 belongs on PlayStation anyways, how bout just give Switch the other 5 (Shin Megami Tensei 5)?
Bit disappointed. Currently playing through P3P on my vita and was starting to get concerned that I wouldn't enjoy P5 on a TV. I enjoy RPGs like this as a pick up and play, leave in rest mode kind of thing, not being forced to adhere to save points.
Obviously they won't port to Vita, but Switch would have been a nice alternative. Given Atlus's history of doing updated ports maybe there's a possibility eventually
The only Persona game that is not Sony exclusive are the Arena games ( think it was on Xbox360 and PS3) and Persona Q (which is a spinoff crossover ) so I'm not surprised at all, still disappointed tho
@Spoony_Tech The thing is, the PS4 version is just a PS3 up-port to begin with; the Switch would be more than able to handle it from a technical perspective.
I know at least one other person who's a bit disappointment by this.
If we're taking Mass Effect as the indicator of how 3rd parties sell on Nintendo consoles, then that's our problem.
I'm not even debating the fact that 3rd parties will look at something like that and make decisions based off it, but it's an incredibly flawed way to look at it no matter how you slice it, and an indicator on how out of touch the gaming industry can be.
Nintendo fans were basically put in a position to lap up a one-off game whilst every other console got the trilogy.
Not to mention the other chopped-up ports the Wii U got.
So basically Nintendo fans were put in a no-win situation of either validating the existence of these butchered ports through sales, or losing 3rd party support altogether. And they went with the latter. Which, if you ask me, was the better option. We as gamers, mostly through sales, have validated far too many greed-fueled gaming industry decisions in the last couple of generations.
Not really surprising but not exactly a blow to Nintendo. These games are either already out in japan (Yakuza) or on the way (persona) and are on lock for the systems specified. Expecting a quick port of them for international audiences as of right now is just whining. Now perhaps in a year or two MAYBE but I would think they would rather just put Yakuza 7 (6 just came out) and Persona 6 on additional systems rather than going back an porting. That is much cheaper for them in the long run to port from the get go. People need to stop expecting (demanding?) games almost done or actually done with development to get ports. Instead just focus on future games.
poor casuals, they won't be able to play their waifu sim in the beautiful switch
(Just a bait, don't get upset angry people)
What I meant to say is that everything is fine if the mainline games continue coming to nintendo and persona for sony.
@bezerker99 persona games have mainly been on PlayStation so thats not a issue. For me personally its not about how many games Switch gets but how many quality games it gets. Ps4 and x1 have lots of games but how many of them are considered classics or gems? This gen has been very mediocre and only a dozen or so gems have been released. Innovation has teken a back seat to cookie cutter sequels and remakes/remasters. Hopefully Switch delivers on that.
I tend to prefer the more serious tones of the most recent mainline SMT games on 3DS anyway, rather than the emo teenage style of Persona, so I'm good. Never been a fan anyway, so they can keep it. What little I played of Yakuza back on the PS2, I didn't like at all, so I'm not feeling like I'm missing something either there. However if another SMT in the style of SMTIV came out and it wasn't on Switch, then I'd be feeling bad about it .
If the system really takes off in Japan then I think a port may happen simply because of the power of portable RPG love over there. However as it stands right now Persona has been a Sony exclusive since the original. Besides who needs Persona 5 when you might get SMT5 or TMS2 (please let there be a TMS2)? All kidding aside Atlus has been a strong supporter of Nintendo since the DS era and you should expect some support from them, just not Persona.
Sure, Persona has primarily been on Playstation consoles but this spinoff wasn't......
@bezerker99 Ughhhh. Not sure if I misread that but did you claim that SMT is a spin-off of Persona? That may had been me misinterpreting because the first SMT game was released on the Super Famicom and Persona was on the Playstation (that is if your not including Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei which was on the original Famicom).
@Wexter Oops - you are right! I totally flubbed that up. lol - i will edit my post accordingly.
Lol: Its the new game people, third-party Retail games that are NOT coming to Switch!!!
Epic fail from Nintendo, but I didn't expect anything less!
i'm not sure why anyone is surprised. i had only ever seen persona 5 marketed as a ps4 exclusive.
WOW, people are asking if a game will be coming out on a specific system!!!!! I don't blame them either. I can't speak for Persona but I've read on other sites that Yakuza 0 is only a Playstation exclusive for the first year. Why would they say this if it wasn't going to be ported to other outlets later? Maybe it's coming to the Xbone eventually.....but don't ask John Hardin because he can't handle answering questions about products that the company he represents produces.
This wasn't even on my radar for Switch. Persona has always been Sony's. I would have been surprised if it was even rumored for Switch, which it wasn't except by hopeful fans. I would be equally surprised if it ever receives an XB1 release.
We're all dreaming the same dream here: all the games we want on one system, but it's the impossible dream. Nintendo can still be competitive in this genre with Monster Hunter and a new X game. I'll buy P5 on PS4 as originally planned.
Persona main series has been exclusive to PlayStation for years. And with PlayStation still on top that is not changing. So this is not a blow. The switch is still a very unknown. And just because Nintendo has a big list of people saying they will support it does not mean this is back in the race with Sony and Microsoft. If sales fall like the Wii U and don't raise to a higher level it's pretty much Wii U all over expect it will also take the handheld market with it too.
So I hope Nintendo sales us all next week and in the year ahead on switch being a return to form.
That's a shame.
Just give us shin Megami tensei 4 part 1 and 2 with all DLC with the price of 1 game On the switch please.i can dream right?
Switch is dead, Nintendo is doomed once again, Nintendo Life will burn, my avatar isn't a random anime girl, the world is in chaos.
I don't think it was 'a given' as so many people seem to be saying. Persona has only been on Playstation systems by default. Don't think there's any contract in place.
@darkgamer001 Good comment and pretty much echoes my sentiments.
As for the article there'll be one tomorrow saying Halo won't be coming out for the Switch, and people in here will still be saying this is a massive blow and Nintendo's dropping the ball...
@nhSnork it is if there is enough of it.
Breaking news, games which were announced as Playstation exclusives a long time ago are only coming to Playstation consoles.
Also anyone hoping this would/will come out on Switch you need to get a grip on reality
You'd think if that many people were truly expressing interest, they'd consider porting it.
But it was PS exclusive after all. This is like people asking for Monster Hunter or Bayonetta 2 on other platforms
@whanvee
"starting to become like Wii U"
No, it's always been like this. Loooong before Wii U was even ever dreamed up.
Look at the N64 and all the PSone games that it didn't get, or the GameCube and all the PS2 games it didn't get, or the Wii and all the PS3 games it didn't get..
What made Wii U different was that it got absolutely nothing.
Switch will be no different than N64, or GameCube or Wii. But that doesn't make it like Wii U. It will have to have zero support for that to be the case, and even if that did happen it wouldn't be for a couple years yet. It would have to fail miserably for a couple years first
Who is surprised? Main Persona games and even Yakuza games (I believe) have only ever been on PlayStation.
@Kalmaro yes. It's just the definition of "enough" that can vary in any given moment, especially in a multimillion dollar business.
@JaxonH
I was referring more to the fact that close to launch (wiiu)a lot of third parties started naming all the games that wouldn't come to the Wii u. Just giving me a bit of dejavu.
As far as third party support we have been missing it since the 64. But you know most of those games we missed out on ended up becoming exclusives to Playstation for the following years.
Oh well, we shall see.
@jcurls Tokyo Mirage Sessions sold like absolute sh*t. Don't expect another game in the series.
@Aozz101x Fatal Frame, Dragon Ball Z Fusions
lol
Outright dismissals such as these fill me with a sense of foreboding when it comes to the Switches lineup of games.
And let the frustrations begin? This is the kind of thing that left me frustrated with the Gamecube, Wii and Wii--U. It will be a huge let down if the other systems get the games I like to play (RPG's).
No Monster Hunter 5 on Sony..!! Haaaa!!!
This is a whatever. It has always been a Sony game. It is not like Atlus isn't going to bring it. Relax. Just not a Persona.
I need to change my avatar.
@Gorlokk Remote play, baby!
@Manjushri I think it's capabilities will be fine, but the problem is, most third-party developers tend to fly to the more powerful consoles, and the ones with the best graphics. Unfortunately, those are usually not Nintendo, as they care more about actually making games, and affordable systems, rather then "movie-like games."
Honestly, video game graphics nowadays don't look much different from the previous generation's to me. We're reaching a point where graphics aren't going to look much better then they do now. So I never understood that graphics/power bias most game developers, and gamers in general have. (Which results in all the bias against Nintendo. Heck, when discussing consoles most media outlets never even mention Nintendo systems.)
Though, I suppose people asking for "Persona" on Nintendo, would be like asking for Metroid on Playstation.
@Manjushri PS4 looks nice, but honestly it just looks like a slightly better PS3 to me. I still don't see much difference honestly, or understand why it's so beloved.
I guess I just prefer Nintendo's more quirky style.
I don't get why are people so upset about this. It was said many times in the comment section. Yes we got titles like Persona Q on the 3DS, but Persona has been exclusive to PS consoles for years. It's not even a new game we are talking about, but a port. That doesn't mean the Switch is doomed or that Switch will fail miserably. Yes it can happen, it can become a flop - but those are just assumptions. We didn't even got the console yet, we didn't try to play on it yet so why are you so sure the Switch will be a failure or won't be getting good enough lineup of games and third parties support? We still got the Persona themes on 3ds at least lol. I understand the frustration of hardcore Persona fans that would love to play it on every possible system, but that's a bit of unrealistic... every console/handheld needs their exclusive titles so the competition of the consoles/handhelds can keep going on. And without that, we wouldn't be getting new titles, becaue people would be buying only one console/handheld and there wouldn't be reason to even port the games...
1) Atlus USA's PR guy has no control over the Japanese devs.
2) Just knowing my Persona, I wouldn't expect anything yet. I know nothing is announced, but every other Persona so far eventually got an enhanced re-release. P1 and 2 on PSP, P3 FES & Portable, P4 Golden. Our best bet for a Switch port would be if 5 gets a special edition.
Even if it doesn't, try not to get too salty. Atlas isn't one of those companies that craps on Nintendo. People are invoking Wii U woes. They put out a MegaTen-related Wii U exclusive. They also jumped ship film Sony with the core MegaTen franchise, giving DS/3DS owners Strange Journey (and its upcoming remake), SMT IV and Apocalypse, and the Soul Hackers remake. We also got the pseudo Etrian Odyssey crossover, Persona Q. And, let's not forget the DS family has their own "SMT meets Persona" series in the Devil Survivor SRPGs. Unless I'm forgetting something, the only thing Sony has gotten in the MegaTen vein for years is Persona and various ports/special editions thereof. Oh and spinoffs (Catherine, Arena, Dancing All Night). Catherine was legit the only PS3 MegaTen before P5, while 3DS got release after release. So chin up, guys.
@Smash_kirby BAHAHAHAHAHAH
@Telin Gamestop actually had Persona 5 listed as coming to Xbox one for the longest time, even after it came out.
@Smash_kirby And?
@Telin I was actually willing to buy it on the Xbox one, I just find it funny that Gamestop made that mistake.
Mm hmm ok sure
Hang on a sec. Joker's in smash bros... whut? Does that mean this post is deconfirmed and switch will be getting persona 5? I hope so.
What if I told you it would be stupid not to put Persona 5 on Switch at this point?
Masahiro Sakurai to Atlus: WHO KNOWS WHERE THE WHIMS OF FATE MAY LEAD US
It looks like they may have had a change of heart...
This might have aged well (might with ultimate being our hope)
This is a downer but given that this is a American representative of a jap,comlany Imwouldn’t call it definitive. The Switch is slaying in japan. In 22 momths it has outsold standar ps4 @ 60 monhs. Popular games will continue tp get ported so maybe someday.
The article is misleading about Sega support. The new SMT V game is not a rumor, it was anninced in a previous Direct with game footage. N had always had SMT and PS Persona. If SMT is coming in 19 why step on it woth a P5 port?
Sega support has been good they just released Valk4 concurrently and a Vallk1 port. We also just got Mega Drive arcade. They also announced that Sonic Team Kart game.
Altus invests a lot in Japan in Vita, and then a good number of those ganes get localized. That action is coming to Switch as it has already passed lifetime vita sales so expect all those jrpg a otome games to be on Switch increasingly in 19 and beyond.
Switch is getting support from everywhere and it will continue. It just doesn’t make sense for publishers to bring some games. I think some of the current and last gen ports we are getting are amazing and prove that a lot can be shoehorned onto the little hybrid marvel.
Really when we got Switxh did we think we would be playing Skyrim, Doom, Wolf2, D3, NBA2K, FiFa, RocketL, Warframe, ValkChron, LANr, Battle Chasers.....lots of series or games many cynics never believed we would have on a N system. So relax more good stuff is coming and N themselves nave some amazing favorites already announced with more uo their sleaves to be sure. They just had a record holiday world wide. I can’t wait to see the 4qtr sales to see if they topped year one sales in 3qtrs, which they arre gonna have to do to hit the 20mil sales by the end lf march.
@QuickSilver88
The article is a year old
Edit: 2 years, getting used to a new year is confusing
@SamuFinland It actually turns two years old in a day.
Exactly 2 years after this original article was posted and look where we are now.
I wasn't really hoping it would, but why bother with this Joker fella in Smash then? Rather have WaLuigi.
@bezerker99
"A series that has been known to be exclusive to PlayStation isn't coming to Switch, Switch has no games"
Do you know how stupid you sound?
There is honestly not a single reason to not have persona 5 on switch, since both new sonic games were, surprise surprise, on switch, and it looks like persona Q 2 will also be on switch. The switch is stronger than the PS3 and it can handle Persona 5 fine, so not putting it on would be a dumb idea. People from smash will start looking into joker's origin, see persona 5, and see play-station exclusive, but a switch version would gather millions more fans than it staying on PS3 / PS4.
@QuickSilver88 Spellcheck?
@Bazingabup what does Sonic have to do with Persona 5 again? Nothing.
