The Pokémon Generations animated series has been keeping YouTube viewers happy for a number of weeks, but it's almost reached its big conclusion. It's due to end on 23rd December, with episode 17 continuing the story from Pokémon X & Y.
It's another interesting episode, though be warned - Pokémon are mis-treated, and at one point a pocket monster has tears in its eyes. It's intense viewing, but is still suitable for all ages...

Are you looking forward to the series finale next week?

Poor Mimi...
Very nice. I would have loved this story to have had longer in the games instead of it being a brief postgame section.
So I take it we're getting something with AZ next week? Doesn't seem terribly exciting for the last episode, I'm hoping for some surprise bonus episodes in Alola.
@PotatoTheGreat I would've expected a final episode to be actually plot details from sun/moon, like the climax, but who can say? Not me. Probably the animators.
I still need an explanation on Looker's deceased companions that he mentioned in X/Y and Sun/Moon. Pokemon Generation has been doing an amazing job fleshing out this character, yet I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to learn about Croagunk and the "Faller" who perished on one of his missions.
@Calllack AZ is on the promotional poster, so I think his backstory is a safe bet for next week's episode.
I wish they were doing Alola episodes
I like this episode's premise but it was much too short. It could only be understood by someone who played X and Y.
Overall, I was pleased with this episode. IMO I wish this story had had more prominence/meat to it in X/Y, it was by far my favorite part of the game.
PETA wouldn't have enjoyed the video though.
I see they fixed Looker's face, hehe.
Nice ep, it reminded me the XY Looker quest was more entertaining than the one in SuMo.
Pokémon generations makes me want an adventure game where you play as Looker.
Though I suppose I can wait for detective pikachu to be localized
Weakest episode by far!
I really enjoyed Kalos but damn this is lacking...
I liked it, but...
I wonder why they chose to make an episode about a scene the game protagonist is actually in, but without him/her, when the premise of all episodes were "focus on the moments the player didn't get to witness"
While the fight against Deoxys was a really cool episode, it was anything but that (the above) and they neglected the perfect chance to dip into Zinnia's background story.
If this goes on, the next episode will be AZ fighting the protagonist, for that last endgame reveal
Ooh....Kiki is going to feel that one in the morning!
@Tyranexx call peta
Falcon KICK!
@Braok Or Team Plasma. They seem to be the PokéMon universe's equivalent.
@Captain_Toad *Mimi
@Braok Keep PETA as far away from this as possible.
@MegaVel91 no
@allav866 I have a feeling the Aether Foundation is making fun of PETA
They disable Pokéballs in their facility, just like PETA, they seem to be all about protecting Pokémon but I saw the (loli) president let out this evil grin when saying she will "love and protect" the ultra beast (I'm not too far in, excuse my possible ignorance please) which reminds me of how PETA doesn't actually "save" most of their animals. Sorry if you support PETA but...
its propaganda lol
@MegaVel91 Ooh....Mimi is going to feel that one in the morning!
@Braok PETA is a sham, headed by someone who has no screws to have loose cause she lost them years ago.
