Like pretty much every desirable Nintendo product, the Pokémon GO Plus add-on has been relatively tricky to track down. The app's popularity has contributed to that, along with Nintendo's habit of only sending about three units to each country - we exaggerate, but only a little...
In any case, the Plus is back in stock on Nintendo UK's official store; that's the product page link right there. It still costs a relatively pricey £34.99, and is limited to one per customer.
It's worth noting that big things are expected in GO soon, based on comments from Niantic and data lurking in the app. In the coming weeks we're hoping to see the likes of trades, PVP battles and gen 2 Pokémon, though we might not get all of those goodies at once.
If you're in the UK and tempted to get one of these in time for Christmas do let us know. Also, if you want a little help deciding whether it's worth getting a Plus, we made a guide explaining what it does.

How long before they're GOne?
Grab it. There's only 5 available
PVP battles sound nice.
BTW, I wonder when the ability to send the captured pokemon from the app to the main games will be available. Sun & Moon have an entry in the met location names table that says 'Pokemon GO'
Would be cool. If I had the app. Or data.
The battery's starting to get low on my one... but it has lasted pretty well considering how much I use it.
@Gridatttack Doubt it'll be a transfer... more likely an event run via PGO, giving a QR code to scan into the game which gives you the event Pokemon (like they're doing with Magearna).
My wife's phone, which we play Pokemon Go, can't handle the cold temps in Ohio currently. Not sure if this would fare any better. I went out for a run yesterday, zapped her battery in 30 minutes, I can usually go for a 90 min run and have juice left.
It's going to be hard to play Go except for in a car until like April in colder areas of the World. updates might help with more playing.
Annnnnnnnnd they're gone
@XCWarrior Cold temperatures always seems to sap phone batteries like mad... probably something to do with the chemicals in the battery itself.
I've got a pretty thick case on my phone now which does help protect it from the cold, but it's not a problem with the PGO+ as long as you keep your phone in a pocket most of the time, as your body heat should keep it warm.
As for the PGO+... I keep mine on my wrist, so my sleeve and body heat keep it warm... but I don't know how well it would fare if worn outside clothing in this weather.
Ahh Nintendo. Can't wait for them to ship those "three" Switches in every region come March and then claim stocking issues due to "Larger than expected demand".
