We're not sure how valid the term 'Black Friday' truly is any more, as a lot of deals seem to be starting on the US Thanksgiving Holiday; that, after all, is a Thursday. Still, it's all just a technicality in this age of online shopping and rampant consumerism.
In any case, it's worth noting that those awesome $99 New Nintendo 3DS units should be on sale from 24th November; you can see multiple links to guide you towards those on this page.
Nintendo of America has also sent out a handy summary of other deals on the way, in this case related to game discounts. They all go live on 24th November (again, a day earlier than they should be), so it'll be important to get right on it from about 9pm Pacific / midnight Eastern online, or to head out to stores early.
Below is the content of the NoA summary, which also draws from the official 'Holidays' website. We've hyperlinked to product pages, but remember the discounts won't go live until the above times (or whatever times the retailers decide), if indeed they're applied online in addition to being offered in stores.
Please note that some external links on this page are affiliate links, which means if you click them and make a purchase we may receive a small percentage of the sale. Please read our FTC Disclosure for more information.

Nothin.
Switch it up, Nintendo. Wii see those deals, U know they suck.
Now that Pokémon Sun and Moon have released, the discounts for the other Pokémon games came in at the right time.
There's still somewhat of a shortage in discounts though.
Anything for us in the uk
Aw, man. Still no Wii Party U rereleased ?
@UK-Nintendo No. Or maybe they'll give us a Pineapple Miitomo Hat for 5,317 platinum points on My Nintendo.
That $99 New Nintendo 3DS is brilliant. There's no deal in Europe in any way that approaches that price.
As always, old games everyone already has.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I wish they did. They made me buy the Mario outfit when it first started and now they giving it for free when you log in to miitomo. This can't be happening. Nintendo and free.
I think Nintendo are starting to figure out that all their loyal fans ain't that dum
I have most of the games on the list except Pokemon which I don't care
I wish their e shop sale included more VC A games. I wanted some SNES 3ds games and some GBA Wii U ones.
@Zach777 I'm pretty sure the retailers are the ones who set the sales. NOA's just the messenger.
I................own all these.
I was hoping for more game sales from Nintendo. The games I'm considering are all third party. I was hoping for discounts on digital Nintendo Selects games. The $5 off that Walmart is giving would have been perfect for the eshop. Oh well.
The New 3DS deal seems to have gone fast. Amazon was out in short order. I got mine in, even though I can't really afford it. Finding out they're already out of stock made me keep my preorder.
I don't know if the other retailers still have stock, but I read they went up sometime after Amazon.
@AG_Awesome Ditto i was hoping to grab Zelda or Metroid if it was discounted i really can't justify 11.29 plus taxes on games i already own on the Wii U there should be a discount like the Wii to Wii U versions
As for physical games i'm probably just getting New Super Mario Bros 2 since i never played it before not sure about grabbing Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 all 3 games will be 14.99 where i live but i got bored with Super Mario 3D Land quickly same with Mario Kart 7
I was pretty shocked to see the Wii U wasn't on sale. It's like Nintendo is acting as if it doesn't even exist. Per usually, Nintendo has limited sales and it's for games most fans already own. These would be better if new customers were buying a system and games. The only good deal is the N3DS black/white models being released but we all know it will be criminally understocked.
You'd think they'd be trying to get rid of Wii Us any way they can in accordance with their otherwise flawless execution of a scorched earth tactic. Thing is, a majority of people have never been aware of its existence in the first place...
@Anti-Matter
Wii Party U appears to be available on Amazon.
Nothing.
None of those sales are interesting, the cyber sale has more variety than this.
I already ordered Fire Emblem Fates Birthright and Bravely Second from Best Buy, and 2 copies of Pokken tournament from Target (one for my nephews). I might get Minecraft from Toys R Us, since that seems to be a rare discount. All that's left is Twilight Princess HD (and a few $8 PS3 games) from Walmart, but those deals seem to be in-store only, and I won't be going to Walmart today, and probably not tomorrow. If I can get it Saturday, or if Amazon puts up a similar deal, I'll snatch it up and my Black Friday shopping will be done.
