Petite Games is bringing the excellently-titled Super Destronaut 2: Go Duck Yourself to the North American Wii U eShop on October 20th, it has been revealed.
Looking very much like a clone of Taito's seminal Space Invaders, the game involves blasting oncoming enemies, collecting power-ups and grabbing coins to boost your score multiplier.
Classic, Time Attack, Hardcore and "Invaders" modes are promised, and there's a multiplayer option as well.
At $1.99 it's a cheap and cheerful purchase, and we'll be reporting on whether or not it's worth that small amount of cash closer to release. In the meantime, let us know if you're already tempted by the premise of shooting ducks in space by leaving a comment below.

Don't think this will come to Europe.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
The first Super Destronaut wasn't released here, but Petite Games recently released Laser Blaster, Midnight 2, and Toon Tanks in EU, so I wouldn't rule out a EU release for both Super Destronaut 1 & 2.
Maybe they'll release 1 & 2 as a pack in the EU...
"Go Duck Yourself"? Did they hire former Rare or Insomniac Games staffers?
"Go Duck Yourself"? Really? Gotta love developer humor sometimes.
