It's time for the Pokémon GO servers to crash again, and not because of a so-called 'DDoS' attack. Niantic has rolled the ridiculously popular app out to Canada at long last, meaning that North American neighbours need no longer argue over who's more awesome based on Pokémon availability.
The official Pokémon GO Twitter account announced the good news.
It might not be easy for all Canadians to get started, though. Regular Nintendo Life tipster Ryan Millar says that he's struggling to get signed up due to the servers struggling - patience may be the only solution.
When this app arrives in Japan the servers will be doomed.

Enjoy the server issues, Canadians.
Canada should have the honor of having a Pokemon other than 1st gen available.
Snover. Snover everywhere.
Let the Rapidash Mounties come out by the thousands!
Oh no, it was already frightening enough all the people walking around without looking where they were going. Now it's going to be 10 times worse.
Awesome! I already had the apk version but it'll be nice to have more of my friends playing.
the servers have been down for me all of yesterday and today...
I'll try it out, but with most phone apps, I'll probably be bored of it quick
FINALLLY!!! done, and two pokemon caught, sadly all the gyms are already extremely overpowered, got's some walking to do!
Played this for a while and it gets a bit boring flicking the balls at the pocket monsters. Also released a rattata the only one i have by accident no thanks to touch screen controls. Other than that it's a good game but Goldeneye 007 on the N64 was much more memorable.
The server seemed fine. My phone, however, took a long time to load the app and it would freeze a bit, while my friend's took about half the time. Already I've seen families playing it, and lots of lures! It's repetitive, but fun, definitely worth waiting a week, for me. Also, I just got home and there are literally no Pokemon near me, put in the boonies D:
Looking forward to trying it out
@Megumi_Sagano Been enjoying them for the last week and a half
@DarthNocturnal you have 40 dollars? At&t sells the ZTE Android phone which I just bought because my iPhone broke and Pokemon go works for it. You'll have the other phone costs but for a super budget smart phone I am happy with it. For now.
@RoomB31 you can battle gyms with groups of people to take them down. Try going with a couple friends!
@gefflt Guilty as charged. I'd find it funny if Pokemon Go came out, but with good choice of Pokemon available only in Japan and all other countries being filled with nothing but stereotypes. Imagine USA full of Snorlax and Nintendo being like "Hey, what's up?"
@Piersen You would have to travel to Norway for Cubchoo, Serbia for Grimer and the moon for Clefairy
Great, one step closer to me.
Let's hope the servers get better by then.
@gefflt As a Canadian, who the heck cares, we do have a ton of mountains with snow on them.
