Each year, clothing retailer Uniqlo runs a T-Shirt Grand Prix design competition in which it picks a theme and then allows the public to submit designs - the best of which are put into production and sold in the company's stores all over the world. In previous years the themes have included Star Wars and Disney, but this year it's Nintendo's turn.
The grand prize is a whopping $10,000 and the competition is open to everyone, irrespective of age or nationality. The successful designs will go on sale in Spring 2017. You can find out more details here and submit your application here. It's also worth checking out the rules and regulations, as you can't mix and match characters:
Characters from different games may not coexist in one design. Example: Mario and Legend of Zelda should not exist in one T-shirt design. However, Mario and Luigi may be used in one design.
Will you be submitting a design?

Just seen the tweet from @NintendoUK, not my thing but there will be some awesome entries from fans, absolutely awesome. Good luck, hopefully someone from this community will win!
This is actually really cool! Now if you excuse me... **goes to den creating ideas for rest of Summer**
This is exciting! This could result in some great new designs and be a great boost in Nintendo's ip-recognisability.
Even though I'm a terrible artists, I'm at least going to attempt some ideas that I think are cool. Here in the Netherlands, we say "If you don't shoot, you'll always miss." Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.
Why do I have to be such a bad artist!? >.< I'm better at funny T-Shirt puns though...
You also win an NX console autographed by Miyamoto with the $10000.
If only I had some artistic talent...
@PLATINUM7 Yeah who cares of the money... the autographed console is the real prize!!!
I've already got an idea! I just hope it's not too complex for my limited art skills...
I've already started work on my design
Never thought I'd say this, but Nintendo is doing too much marketing these days
From what I heard you can win a signed NX system
