Tumblestone is a name you may recognise from some Nindie promotions and previews from Nintendo of America, with the upcoming action puzzle title getting plenty of buzz. The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild - a neat name for a development studio - is now nearly ready to share it with the world.
The title's arriving on 12th July for Wii U (and a host of other platforms) in North America and Europe, with a price tag of $24.99 in the US. It's a relatively premium price for a download game, though it does promise plenty of features (the following is from its press pack).
- Competitive multiplayer: Tumblestone's intense puzzle-solving action will turn playing "just a few more rounds" with friends into a late-night Tumblestone marathon.
- Local multiplayer: Up to four players on a single computer or console.
- Online multiplayer: Play online against your friends or make new ones using Tumblestone's ranked matchmaking system.
- Bots: Have an open slot? Play against the computer. But can anyone withstand the punishing Nightmare bot?
- Story mode: The 40+ hour story campaign will test your puzzle-solving prowess. Featuring 10+ gameplay modifiers, challenge puzzles, and boss battles.
- Arcade modes: Kick back and relax with the casual Marathon mode, scratch an intellectual itch with the Infinipuzzle mode, or get your blood pumping with the fast-paced Heartbeat mode.
- Leaderboards: Online leaderboards let your friends know you're better than them.
- Quests: Hundreds of unique quests to complete.
- Stats: Rank up, then compare how you stack up against your friends.
- Personalization: Choose from a dozen unique characters and environments.

This game is free on release on Xbox One for LIVE users. 16th July i think.
Apology accepted lol
Blegh.... !!!
Worst idea for using underground fighting to deliver a puzzle games trailer.
$24.99!? Suddenly my interest in this game seems to have drastically tumble stoned away... It doesn't take a quantum astrophysicist to realize that the cost is a tad too steep for a Nindie title. Maybe when a sale brings it down to the $7.99-$9.99 range.
This game was pretty damn fun when I played it at Tokyo Gameshow!
The price is a little steep, but for party times, it does what only few other puzzle games do, has been my impression.
I had interest in this and would be a day one purchase.
That price is not acceptable to me for an indie title that looks like a flash game. What is the price on other consoles? Is it really FREE on Xbox?
Like the others I was looking forward to this and anything less than $15 probably would have been a day one buy.. but I can't dish out $25 for it whoah just look at it that is an insult.. those features don't justify it either. Lame guess I will wait for a sale.
In comparison;
Astral Breakers and Puzzle Monkeys are often on-sale for under $3.
I would imagine a $24.99 games on sale would never get below $19.99.
If this is the next "Tetris" and if it's coming to retail maybe then 25$ is ok. There are a ton of features it seems, but gameplay looks bland and the trailer is bad.
This game will be free for Gold users on Xbox One next month. Since I´m a fan of puzzles, having this games for free feels good.
I don't know maybe
