EGX 2016 takes place between the 22nd and 25th of September at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, and if you're attending then you'll be pleased to know that your retail needs during those four days will be fulfilled by online giant Amazon - so bring plenty of pennies, basically.
Thanks to the new deal, attendees "will have the opportunity to pre-order games and hardware courtesy of Amazon" and the retailer is also "working with publishers to come up with one or two surprises for the show". There's even a EGX 2016 hub on Amazon's site.
Those of you who attended last year's event will no doubt recall that Nintendo Life was heavily involved with Nintendo UK's gigantic stand - you can check out pictorial highlights here or sample some moving images below, if that's more your thing.

I'll mark it down on the calendar
I've never heard of EGX before and I don't remember last years show.
But looking at that video, it seemed like it was quite good.
I have been going to EGX every year since 2012! So this year will be my 5th time
I have been going for several years, thoroughly recommend to anyone in the UK.
Was so ill last year, didn't manage to get there despite having the tickets for months. Hopefully I can actually manage to use the tickets this year.
Team-up with Amazon is interesting.
Sounds cool. I might be tempted to pop in this year.
I'm working .
