Azure Striker Gunvolt 2

Back in late February, Inti Creates announced that Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 was on its way to the 3DS. The sequel to 2014's Mega Man-inspired Azure Striker Gunvolt, this promised to offer more hyperactive 2D shooting action to gamers on the go. Then, a couple weeks ago, it was announced that there would be a special presentation for the game on the 26th, with Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune making an appearance.

It has now been brought to light that – at least in Japan – there will be a retail release that contains both Azure Striker Gunvolt and its sequel, and it will be launching in Japan on 25th August. Also, it was revealed that this will be the day that Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 makes its first appearance on the eShop. Whether or not the western release will soon follow, or if there will be a retail release, still remains to be seen, but hopefully more information will soon be made available.
