The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is out this week, and it would appear that someone at Google is a bit of a fan, as hero Link is making a guest appearance in Google Maps.
Open up Google Maps in your browser and hover your mouse pointer over the little "Street View" character in the bottom-right of the screen - it's Link! You can now have hours of fun dragging him around the map, pretending that he's on some epic quest near your home or workplace.
We've had no official word on why this is happening, but the re-release of Twilight Princess would seem like the most likely reason.
Our good friends over at Family Gamer TV have put together a video showing it off:

LEGEND OF ZELDA GO CONFIRMED
Around the world in a few min with link
Ha! I stayed just around the corner from here when I was in London in July.
This is so random, and awesome!
I placed Link on Link Road, which is just down the street here. Haha!
@bezerker99 lol
So I guess no hard feelings after Nintendo dropped Wii Street U. Also, I guess this will fuel more speculation on the next Nintendo OS being a version of Android.
I just love Google because of things like this!
Expected it to be something more than just a different StreetView man icon. No sound effects? No other easter eggs for dropping him on Link Street?
Also can't you like, wiggle the regular guy around like in that video? Not sure why that was so fascinating tbh.
By an interesting coincidence I first noticed this when I was looking at satellite views of the Universal theme parks since I had heard a lot of rumors regarding the Nintendo projects there lately.
Lol No fuel about Android. Not a drop. Good.
Control is keeping many people from going away. I look around and see this everywhere. What are they having for dinner?
