Earlier this week Super Mario Maker's servers went offline rather unexpectedly, with Nintendo outlining maintenance for a whopping 37.5 hours and stating that they were working to fix a 'bug' in the Create mode.
Originally due to finish on Thursday 28th January at 5:00pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern / 1am UK (29th January) / 2am CET (29th January), thankfully Nintendo has wrapped up its fix ahead of schedule, confirming that a mandatory update fixes the issue, whatever it was.
We've hopped into the game and, sure enough, the online features are all present and accounted for. The rather cool slow motion glitch is still there, too, which is nice.

Yay, the unscheduled maintenance is over.
@PtM Yup, you just download them. There's a download button on any level you might come across. Of course, there's a limit to how many levels you can download.
Oh, thank the Maker!
Has anyone seen any slopes in the game now?
The patch is around 300MB from what I just read. Is is REALLY just to fix the one glitch? Roll on data mining...
Following Kotaku, a glitch was fixed which made it possible to play changed online level.

i know all about this glitch
@Alundra-1998 Yes, slopes are there now. You have to shake a pipe for two hours every time you want to place one, and if you stop shaking for even a millisecond, the time period resets. But, it's worth it!
