Project X Zone 2 will be among a glut of promising releases in early 2016, and will also be relatively unique among the crowded batch of arrivals. The RPG will once again mash up Capcom, SEGA and Bandai Namco franchises, and this time will throw in a bit of Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem for good measure. If any game is a representation of a six year old after drinking a litre of cola, this is it.
The good news is that we'll have a little less of a wait before it arrives. In Europe the release date has been brought forward a week to 12th February, now sneaking out before the equivalent arrival in North America (16th February). Also, a demo will hit the EU eShop on 21st January, while it'll also come to North America in the same month.
It'll be fun to sample the madness before taking the plunge; you can get a taste for what this one will offer in the new trailer below.

Oh, this is great. I can't wait for the release of this. I really enjoyed the first despite some of its flaws
Hope date comes forward for everyone else, next to fire emblem, I'm most eager to play this.
I'm glad it comes out when it does because I have two releases in January, 4 releases in Feb, 3 in March and 1 in April.
Nice. Looking forward to this one.
Cool. I'm gonna wrap up the last 3 chapters I've been strategically holding off on beating, for my flight to Boston tomorrow. I dont care how repetitious the game is/was, I loved every second of it and eagerly await the sequel for NA. Already sold.
Sounds like there's definitely not Limited Edition coming here, which is disappointing but predictable. Still will probably grab the game as soon as I can.
SEGATA!!!!!!!!
Question, guys: I hear that the first game was too easy. Is this true?
featured titles at the end! SHENMUE SERIES! makes me soooooooooooooo happy!
@TheDavyStar "too easy" is a relative term, but yes, yes it was.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Buying it for Segata Sanshiro (SEGA SATURN, SHIRO!) and staying with it for Hibana from Nightshade.
