Here's an odd release date for you - Story of Seasons is now coming to Europe on 31st December, New Year's Eve - it had previously been pegged for an arrival on 8th January in the region.
It's a strange date to launch a game but seems to be a decision to also tap into the Download Update, if we allow ourselves to speculate, as New Year's Eve happens to be on a Thursday this year.
In any case this title - which is actually a Harvest Moon release in Japan - has certainly been on some wishlists; following its North America release earlier in the year we also gave it a recommendation in our review.
Will you be ringing in the New Year by playing Story of Seasons?

Oh no, I really wanted to get this at launch, but now that it's releasing in the same month as XCX and Paper Jam, it's going to have to wait. Confound it, holiday season!
Why not launch a bit earlier still, and benefit off Christmas?
Not for me, as much as I enjoyed Harvest Moon back then on GBC then Super Nintendo (emulation), I am much more interested into the "derivated" series who started on DS (with the dungeon/RPG elements). Too bad there was no physical release in Europe.
About farm RPGs, I am looking forward for the 3DS spin-off using an old manga/anime as background. (I forgot the name)
