Nostatic Software has been rapidly making its mark on the Wii U, making the transition to the eShop with three quickfire releases from its catalogue of games. Both The Quiet Collection and Kung Fu FIGHT! earned recommendations from our reviewers, and we're still making our way through the pixel-based creation tool VoxelMaker.
The studio isn't done though, and will be releasing Ascent of Kings in North America on 22nd October; it'll cost $1.99. This one is a platforming adventure in which a young brother sets off on an adventure to become a King; with exploration and discovery there are ability boosts to be found, too.
You can see the trailer below - are any of you in North America interested in this?

I played this on the OUYA.
It's short, Metroid-y platform adventure with a few clever puzzles and a few cynical observations about life and fate. You can complete it in a few hours, making it worth.. a few bucks?
It's a cute little slice of game design theory in practice.
Right price I will give it a go!
@Tops it's actually a fairly decent game for the price! The physics are also pretty tight for a metroidvania game that doesn't have Metroid or Castlevania in its title.
Looks like a cheap version of Knytt underground.
