Gory Detail is the studio founded by former Rare developers Christopher "Conker" Seavor and Shawn Pile, and the pair are currently hard at work on The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup, which is coming to both Wii U and 3DS.
Those of you already familiar with Seavor's work will know he likes a good laugh - and the following video, which claims to show the "true story" behind the company - certainly made us chuckle quite a bit.
It is claimed that Gory Detail made a game for the "Batari 2600" console back in the day, but the company went under after legal action from Atari, and the cartridges were covertly buried in the UK countryside. What does that remind you of?
The video is to promote the release of Parashoot Stan: Retro Reborn on iOS, but mention is made of Rusty Pup at the end - with a release date of "Coming...honest."

Ha, I liked that. Actually shot better than some movies I have seen lately.😀
They should have called the tunnel part "The Blair Cartridge"...
Gotta love British humor, though. Two thumbs up.
