Well that video was much more interesting than I thought, reminded me of a cross between Little Inferno and Costume Quest. Everything I've read about it says this game is most certainly not for me, but I really liked the vid, especially the Godzilla vs Bambi homage near the end. Well made.

I've wanted this for quite a while now. I can't wait. Has anyone here actually played it? Is it good?

Been looking forward to this for quite a while, will pick it up on the 4th.

If only there was Co-Op in this game. I wonder if that will come later, possibly after they officially release it on Steam.

@Donutman Its a really good game but also really intimidating at first, losing all your progress do to stupid mistakes and starting all over again is just harsh for some but is really rewarding at the sametime.
At some point it you learned from all your past mistakes, you know to deal with certain situations you have faced and failed before, you learn to prepare for the future and face the dangers and you learn something different everytime after all the world just keeps changing and changing due to it being randomly generated.

Just to give you an idea, I have 80+ hours on the PC version and still learning and finding new uses to items, places and biomes around the world.

Sounds great but like @rjejr I think this is not for me. I can deal with hard games, but masochistic ones are a different thing. As you get older you start to value your time more, as to waste it doing things all over again because you made a mistake and there are no checkpoints to ease the pain.

I can learn from my mistakes, I don't need a teacher with a wooden stick to hit me on the head every time I make a mistake.

Day one. Wii U needs more innovative and original games like this.

This is a Day 1 Purchase for me. I bought the PC BETA and managed to get 2 copies for $11. I'm glad to see a similar event for the Wii U. I was planning on buying this game for my friend anyway, so this is convenient.

Too bad I payed full price for the PS4 version. I knew I should've waited...damnit...I even flipped a coin and it said don't go for the PS4 version...

I'm not paying $18 bucks for this...

Love this style of promotion. Completely mitigates any reticence about being burned by sales down the road. I have access to two Wii Us and occasionally wish I bad put a game on one over the other so the versatility is extremely helpful.

I wanted this before but this is just icing on the cake. To bad it doesn't have a 3ds version as well. Not sure who ill give the code to yet but i have a few in mind.

Oh and i mentioned you about 2 weeks back saying we got our Persona Q sale but it still wasn't a good enough sale for me. All it did was bring it down to regular price. To me that's not a sale but the price it should've been all along.

I could pay half the price with somebody, or.........WE CAN SETTLE WHO PAYS FULL PRICE IN SM4SH!!!!

So... is there actually online co-op functionality in the Wii U edition? Because then it would indeed make a lot of sense to let people pass on a copy.

I probably won't be buying this game, but I'm telling you one thing: the art style is gorgeous!
