Earlier this week we shared a Nintendo UK infographic promoting the Wii U, and on the same day Capcom shared a neat effort for 3DS title Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate; we don't know whether game companies have had a secret meeting agreeing to an infographic offensive, but they're pretty enough that we don't care.
This Capcom release shows off the real-world sizes of a number of monsters, giving an appreciation for how much havoc they'd cause if ever they were real; it also intimidates us, a little, ahead of the title's arrival. One of our favourites is Seltas, though the thought of a bug that big also makes us feel a little nauseous.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is already out in Japan, though we'll get our hands on it in the West in early 2015; are you excited about its arrival?

I didnt much care for MH 3 on 3ds. I am kinda thinking about this one now...
That Gore Magala looks awesome! Also, glad that angry pickle-like Deviljho returns!
must have for 2015
Super Hype Mode ENGAGE.
Here's an idea, let's make the worlds most giant monsters, and then put them on the tiny 3DS and 3DS LL/XL screens, b/c nobody wants to fight giant monsters on their giant tv screens.
Oh well, maybe someday.
It's really disappointing to me that they just didn't make this for Wii U as well.
WHERE'S MY RELEASE DATE!!!
If jhen mohran are not large enough, hopefully this dalamadur will not be a punching bag too.
And it would be bigger if the game is on my 50' TV...Just saying capcom.
People complaining about best selling game of Capcom being on 3DS instead of Wii U, not knowing anything about business and poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople...
(Just sayin')
Also, imperial system used by two countries in the world but still everywhere on the internet... come on.
Shame it's not on wii u! I understand that in Japan it will sell on handhelds but in the west we game on cosoles. And games of this size and nature are played on consoles with big screens and voice chat.
nice, getting it day one with the collectors edition!
This game will end up taking way too much time away from me, and I couldn't care less!
Deviljho will always be a personal favourite of mines, can't wait to battle him in Monster Hunter 4. I think I might pre-order the collector's edition if I get enough money before its release date.
Still makes no sense that some of the counterpart monsters aren't in this game still. :c
I'll be getting this one with New Nintendo 3DSXL.
It never fails. Whenever there is an article relating to MH4U SOMEONE has to bring up the Wii U. It's not coming, get over it already.
Welp. Capcom knows where to find me when they make a Wiiu version.
I feel like I'm in a weird minority of people that would have picked up a 3ds version of MH4U over a Wii U version if there was one.
BROS BEFORE DEVILJHOS!
@rjejr
Judging by how the franchise sells, obviously not.
Actually, the series didn't really take off until Capcom remade them for the PSP. Thats not why the games are popular anyway, at least in Japan, its the communication aspects they like. The slogan is literally "In the world of Monster Hunter, your never alone!".
That dalamadur though. Friend and I looked it up, man it's terrifying. Can't wait to take it down! XD
capcom has earned our respect once again
I bought both MH3 and RE:R on Wii U, and would buy both MH4 and RE:R2 on Wii U as well. I'm not interested in them on another platform. But Capcom doesn't need my money, and I don't need MH and RE. I can live without them.
Wow! Can't wait for this game. Recently I killed the last monster in MH3U on 3DS, killing the abyssal lagiacrus at last! Just have to get some more armour and I would have done 500+ hours solo.
This looks great. Especially the huge monster, finally a monster that is colossal (as big as an island) after that one monster in Frontier!
I might just buy the Wii U version to get a taste of online before I get MH4U.
Haha, this is cute.
