Disclaimer: None of us look like this

Many 3DS owners will already be well into their time with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS by this point, customising their fighters and pinning down their 'main' for tough online battles. A fun feature of this game, of course, is its Mii integration: you can choose from three core Mii Fighter types — Brawler, Swordfighter and Gunner — and also tweak a number of abilities and moves. The Multi-Man Smash also brings in Mii characters stored on your system so that you can beat up familiar faces; that's a neat way to bring us to the purpose of this feature.

When Tomodachi Life arrived earlier this year we provided QR codes of willing Nintendo Life team members, so that you could easily invite us to your island paradise. It's a little different this time around, as we're inviting you to either use us for battling others or, if you prefer, beat the snot out of us. This writer has a strong suspicion that many may do the latter.

Many of the codes below are those from the Tomodachi Life feature, while some of our team members are a little more fashionable and have updated their Mii character; we're all Smash fans in this list, in any case. You can very easily go to 'QR Code / Image Options' and then 'Scan QR Code' in the 3DS Mii Maker; simply point the 3DS camera at your monitor of choice.

Enjoy!
